بررسی واژه نبکا به‌عنوان نام یکی از شکل‌های اراضی بیابانی (یادداشت فنی)

یکی از مناظر طبیعی که در حوزه ‌های آبخیز مناطق خشک و بیابانی مشاهده می شود، تجمع ماسه‌ های روان در داخل و اطراف گیاهان است که به ‌مرور زمان باعث شکل ‌گیری توده ‌هایی از ماسه می‌ شود. در زبان عربی به این شکل از اراضی، «النَّبکَة» گفته می‌ شود که به‌معنای تپه کوچک و پشته است. این واژه از زبان عربی وارد زبان انگلیسی و نیز زبان فارسی شده و در غالب متون علمی در این دو زبان، برای بیان این شکل از اراضی، به ‌ترتیب از واژه nebkha و نبکا استفاده می ‌شود. با بررسی متون علمی مشخص شد که شیوه‌ های نوشتاری دیگری مانند nabkha، nebka، nabka و nabkhah نیز برای این واژه وجود دارد که این امر با تصاویر استفاده شده برای نشان دادن این پدیده، حاکی از آن است که منظور همه نویسندگان بیان نبکا بوده است. این تفاوت ‌ها در شیوه نوشتاری، باعث عدم دستیابی پژوهشگران به بیشترین تحقیقات صورت گرفته در مورد این پدیده می ‌شود. علاوه‌ بر این، عبارت‌ هایی مانند coppice dune و phytogenic hillock نیز معادل با نبکا در متون یافت می ‌شود. در این مقاله، استفاده از واژه نبکا در متون به‌عنوان یکی از شکل‌ های اراضی بیابانی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نتایج نشان داد، به ‌منظور دستیابی به اطلاعات جامع‌ تر در هنگام بررسی این پدیده از جنبه های مختلف مانند ژئومورفولوژی و اکولوژی، لازم است شیوه‌ های مختلف نوشتاری و واژه ‌های معادل آن جستجو شود.

the word of nebkha as a name for a desert landform(technical note)

one of the natural landscapes observed in arid and desert areas is the accumulation of loose sand in and around plants, which over time causes the formation of sand masses. in arabic, this type of land is called “نَبکَة : /næbkæ/”, which means small hill and ridge. the word has been translated from arabic into englishas well as persian, and in most scientific texts in these two languages, the word “nebkha” and “نبکا/nebkɑ/” are used to express this form of land, respectively. studying the scientific texts, it was found that there are other writing methods such as nabkha, nebka, nabka and nabkhah for this word, which with the images used to show this phenomenon, indicates that all the authors meant nebkha. these differences in spelling prevent researchers from accessing most of the research done on this phenomenon. in addition, terms such as coppice dune and phytogenic hillock are found in the equivalent of nebkha in the literature. in this short article, the use of the word nebkha in the texts as one of the landform of deserts has been studied. the results showed that in order to obtain more comprehensive information when studying this phenomenon from different aspects such as geomorphology and ecology, it is necessary to search for different writing methods and equivalent words.
