Evaluation of the Groundwater Quality for Irrigation in Zarand City, Kerman

In agriculture, in addition to water quantity, water quality also plays an important role and poor quality can be one of the limiting factors in this sector that in addition to agricultural problems, it also could be a source of problems for the soil. in this study, water samples were collected from zarand city and samples were analyzed for major cations and anions. in this study, with using samples from 15 deep wells in the area, sodium adsorption ratio (sar), soluble sodium percentage (ssp) and residua sodium carbonate (rsc) were examined and the quality of ground water has been studied using wilcox chart
