بررسی اصول و مبانی اخلاقِ زمین به‌عنوان شاخه‌ای نوظهور در اخلاق حرفه‌ای و ضرورت توجه به آموزش آن

علم به خودی خود دعوی اخلاقیات و یا حل و بررسی مسائل و مشکلات اجتماعی را ندارد. از این رو به شاخه‌‌ای بین رشته‌ای نیاز داریم تا ضمن آگاهی از مسائلی علمی، با پیچیدگی‌های علوم انسانی نیز آشنا باشد. اخلاق کاربردی و اخلاق حرفه‌ای چنین وظیفه‌ای دارند و در مورد مسائل مربوط به علوم‌زمین، دانش اخلاق زمین این نقش را ایفا می‌کند. اخلاق زمین (geoethics) یکی از شاخه های نوظهور اخلاق حرفه‌ای است. در اخلاق حرفه‌ای بر مسئولیت‌ها و اولویت‌های اخلاقی اعضاء و صاحبان حرفه تاکید می‌شود. همچنین نحوه مواجهه با مسائل دشواری نظیر دوراهی‌های پیچیده‌ی اخلاقی در آن شاخه تبیین و تشریح میگردد. اخلاق زمین، فصل مشترکی است میان فلسفه، علوم زمین، اقتصاد و جامعه شناسی. در پژوهش حاضر تلاش شده است تا مفاهیم پایه‌ای اخلاق زمین معرفی گردد و ریشه ها و تاریخچه آن مورد بررسی قرار گیرد. همچنین انجمن‌های بین المللی اخلاق حرفه‌ای به عنوان مراجعی جهانی معرفی گردیده است. از جمله مسائل اساسی اخلاق زمین می‌توان به ارتباط آن با جامعه و مسئولیت‌های اجتماعی، موضوع تغییر اقلیم و اکوسیستم حیات، بیان دوراهی های اخلاقی و مباحث مرتبط با پژوهش اشاره نمود. همچنین ارتقاء سطح اخلاقی محققین جوان و تشویق آن‌ها به تفکر انتقادی در خصوص مدیریت منابع زمین و تلاش برای یافتن راه حل‌های اجتماعی-اقتصادی در چارچوب اصول پایداری، برای نسل‌های آینده، از جمله مباحث کلیدی در اخلاق زمین می باشند.

An Introduction to Fundamentals of GeoEthics: A New Insight in professional Ethics and a Neccesity to Education

Science dos not have a clime about the moral issues or solving the social problems. Hence, we need an interdisciplinary branch to be familiar with the complexities of the human sciences while knowledge of scientific or engineering issues. Applied ethics and professional ethics have such a role, and in the field of Geoscience, a new branch called Geoethics plays this role. GeoEthics is one of the emerging branches of professional ethics. In professional ethics, the responsibilities and ethical priorities of members and business owners are emphasized. It also explains how to deal with difficult issues such as moral complexities in that branch. Geoethics is a common ground between philosophy, earth sciences, economics and sociology. In this research, we attempt to introduce the basic concepts of Geoethics and its origins and history. International professional ethics associations have also been introduced as global references. One of the fundamental issues of Geoethics is its relevance to society and social responsibility and also the issue of climate change and ecosystem of life. Dealing with ethical dilemas and related issues of scientific research are the other sides of GeoEthics. Also, promoting the moral level of young researchers and encouraging them to think critically about Georesource management and trying to find socioeconomic solutions within the framework of sustainability for future generations is the other key issues in Geoethics.
