ارزیابی خطر سلامتی فرمالدئید در هوای داخلی سالن‌های زیبایی زنانه شهر گناباد

زمینه و هدف: فرمالدئید یکی از ترکیبات شیمیایی موجود در هوای داخلی سالن‌های زیبایی می‌باشد که پرسنل و حتی مراجعه‌کنندگان سالن نیز در مواجهه با آن قرار می‌گیرند. از آنجایی که فرمالدئید بر اساس گزارش آژانس بین المللی تحقیقات سرطان به عنوان ماده‌ای سرطان‌زا برای انسان شناخته شده است؛ لذا این پژوهش با هدف ارزیابی خطر سلامتی فرمالدئید در هوای داخلی سالن‌های زیبایی زنانه شهر گناباد انجام شد.روش کار: در این مطالعه‌ تحلیلی- مقطعی، 10 سالن زیبایی زنانه انتخاب شدند و نمونه‌برداری مطابق با استاندارد niosh 3500 همزمان با ارائه خدمات انجام گرفت. نمونه‌ها برای آنالیز به آزمایشگاه مورد نظر منتقل شدند و با استفاده از داده‌ها، آنالیز آماری و ارزیابی خطر سلامتی فرمالدئید صورت گرفت. جهت تعیین پارامترهای محیطی موثر بر غلظت فرمالدئید، از اطلاعات ثبت شده در چک لیست مربوطه استفاده شد.یافته‌ها: نتایج آنالیز آماری نمونه‌ها نشان داد مقدار غلظت فرمالدئید در هوای داخلی سالن‌های زیبایی در محدوده استاندارد بود. در بین بخش‌های مختلف سالن‌های زیبایی، بیشترین میزان فرمالدئید منتشرشده برای استفاده از لوازم آرایشی می‌باشد. ریسک غیرسرطان‌زایی فرمالدئید در همه سالن‌های زیبایی کمتر از 1 و در محدوده قابل قبول بود. مقدار ریسک سرطان‌زایی فرمالدئید بر اساس استاندارد us.epa در محدوده احتمال وجود خطر سرطان‌زایی بود. نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به بالا بودن غلظت فرمالدئید در بخش‌هایی که از لوازم آرایشی استفاده می‌شود و وجود خطر احتمالی سرطان‌زایی، بررسی و نظارت بر محتوای فرمالدئید در محصولات آرایشی و بهداشتی الزامی است. همچنین نظارت و کنترل جدی بر تهویه هوا می‌تواند در بهبود کیفیت هوای داخلی سالن‌های زیبایی موثر باشد. 

human health risk assessment of formaldehyde in the indoor air of women's beauty salons in gonabad city

background & objectives: formaldehyde is one of the chemical compounds found in the indoor air of beauty salons, which the workers and even the salon’s customers are exposed to. since formaldehyde is known as a human carcinogen according to the report of the international agency for research on cancer, therefore, this research was conducted to estimate the human health risk of formaldehyde in the indoor air of women’s beauty salons in gonabad city.methods: in this analytical cross-sectional study, ten women’s beauty salons were selected, and sampling was done under niosh standard 3500 at the same time as the providing services. the samples were transferred to the intended laboratory for analysis and statistical analysis, and a health risk assessment of formaldehyde was done using the data. also, the information recorded in the checklist was used to determine the environmental parameters affecting formaldehyde concentration.results: the statistical analysis of the samples showed that the concentration of formaldehyde in the indoor air of beauty salons was within the standard limit. among the different sections of beauty salons, the highest amount of formaldehyde is released from cosmetics. the non-carcinogenic risk of formaldehyde in all beauty salons was less than one, which is in the acceptable range. according to the u.s. epa standard, the carcinogenic risk of formaldehyde was within the scope of probable carcinogenic risk.conclusion: due to the high concentration of formaldehyde in the parts where cosmetics are used and the probable risk of carcinogenicity, it is necessary to investigate and monitor the content of formaldehyde in cosmetic and health products. also, serious monitoring and control of air ventilation can effectively improve the indoor air quality of beauty salons.
