ارزیابی یک رسانه کمک‫آموزشی نوشتاری در آموزش سلامت: یک مطالعه در زمینه وارنیش فلوراید

زمینه و هدف: رسانه‫های آموزشی نوشتاری اغلب جهت ارتقاء سطح سلامت جامعه و پیشگیری از بیماری‫های دهان و دندان مورد استفاده قرار می‫گیرند. با این حال مواد آموزشی با کیفیت پایین مانعی برای ارائه اطلاعات موثر است و معمولاً این رسانه‫ها قبل از انتشار مورد ارزیابی واقع نمی‫شوند. لذا این پژوهش با هدف ارزیابی یک رسانه کمک آموزشی نوشتاری (پمفلت) برای مادران درباره وارنیش فلوراید انجام شد.روش کار: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی بود که در سال 1398 در شهر یزد انجام شد. پمفلت مورد استفاده در این مطالعه، محقق‫ساخته بود و بر اساس نیازسنجی از مادران در زمینه وارنیش فلوراید کودکان، بررسی متون و نظرات متخصصین آموزش بهداشت و دندانپزشکی تهیه گردید. محتوای پمفلت آموزشی در رابطه با بهداشت دهان و دندان، وارنیش فلوراید و ویژگی‫های آن، نحوه استفاده از وارنیش فلوراید بر روی دندان‫ها و مواد و وسایل مورد نیاز برای انجام این کار بود. به منظور ارزیابی پمفلت، از ابزار خوانایی (ram) و مناسب بودن (sam) و شاخص تعیین سطح آموزشی کلوز استفاده شد. یافته ها: نمره ارزیابی دشواری خوانایی 14.4 بدست آمد و پمفلت از نظر تخصصی بودن مطالب و داشتن غلط‫های نگارشی و تایپی در سطح مناسبی قرار داشت. درصد حاصله از ارزیابی مناسب بودن 77.95 درصد بدست آمد و رسانه در محدوده رسانه عالی قرار گرفت. نتایج  ارزیابی کلوز نشان داد، درصد پاسخ صحیح 87 درصد و متن در سطح مستقل است.نتیجه گیری: نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که با توجه به رعایت وضوح، سادگی و اعتبار و خلاصه نویسی مطالب و ترکیب مناسب تصاویر در پمفلت، رسانه مورد نظر بعد از ارزیابی با روش‫های مذکور در سطح مناسبی قرار گرفته و می‫تواند در جهت آموزش مادران در حیطه وارنیش فلوراید کودکان موثر واقع شود. استفاده از روش‫ها و نتایج بدست آمده در پژوهش حاضر به عنوان دستورالعملی برای ارزیابی رسانه های آموزشی نوشتاری در حیطه رفتارهای سلامت می‫تواند در جهت رفع نواقص احتمالی و افزایش تاثیر مداخلات آموزشی بسیار کمک کننده باشد.

assessment of a written educational auxiliary media in health education: a study about varnish fluoride

background & objectives: written educational auxiliary media are often used to enhance societies’ health level and prevention of oral diseases. however, low quality educational materials are an obstacle to present effective information and usually these media are not evaluated before publication. therefore, the present study was carried out to assess a written educational media (pamphlet) about varnish fluoride for mothers.methods: this descriptive study was performed in 2019 in yazd. the educational pamphlet was made by the researcher based on mother’s needs assessment about their pediatric varnish fluoride, literature review as well as comments of health education specialists and pediatric dentists. the content of educational pamphlets was related to oral health, varnish fluoride and its features, how to use fluoride varnish on teeth and the materials and tools needed to carry out this work. in order to assess the pamphlet, readability (ram) and suitability (sam) tools and cloze training level index were used.findings: the difficulty score for readability was 14.4 and the pamphlet was at the good level in terms of content specialization and typographical errors. the percentage obtained from the suitability was 77.95% and the media was as an excellent media. the result of the cloze assessment shows that the percentage of correct answers was 87 and the text was on the independent level.conclusion: considering the clarity, simplicity, credit and summarization of content and proper combination of images in the pamphlet, the written educational auxiliary media was appropriate and can be effective in educating mothers in the field of their children’s varnish fluoride. using the methods and results obtained in the present study, as a guideline for assessment of written educational auxiliary media in the field of health behaviors, can be very helpful in eliminating possible deficiencies and increasing the impact of educational interventions.
