بررسی اثر هوماتروپین موضعی 2 درصد روی قطر مردمک (pd) و فشار داخلی چشم (iop) در چشم اسب‌های سالم

بیووه آیتیس راجعه اسب (equine recurrent uveitis) یک بیماری چشمی مهم است که با مزمن شدن آسیب‌های التهابی باعث تغییرات ثانویه چشمی مانند در رفتگی لنز، گلوکوم و تخریب شبکیه می‌شود و در نتیجه شایع‌ترین علت نابینایی در اسب‌ها در جهان است. هوماتروپین به‌عنوان یک داروی میدریاتیک با اتساع مردمک و شل شدن عضلات مژگانی در التهاب حاد مجرای عنبیه استفاده می‌شود. هدف از این پژوهش بررسی تاثیر قطره چشمی هوماتروپین 2% روی فشار داخلی چشم (intra ocular pressure) و قطر مردمک در اسب‌های سالم است. به همین منظور تعداد 20 راس اسب به‌ظاهر سالم و از نژاد دو خون با محدوده سنی 14 5 سال و محدوده وزنی 310 220 کیلوگرم انتخاب شدند. در هر مرحله شاخص‌های iop و اندازه مردمک، قبل از مصرف قطره، اندازه‌گیری شد؛ سپس به فاصله 15، 30، 60 و 120 دقیقه بعد از آخرین قطره، اندازه‌گیری‌ها تکرار شدند؛ پس از بررسی آماری داده‌ها، نتایج نشان داد که بین گروه تیمار و شاهد در اسب‌های تحت مطالعه برای تعیین iop تفاوت آماری معنی‌داری وجود دارد و هوماتروپین موجب کاهش iop در زمان‌های 15، 30 و 60 دقیقه در مقایسه با گروه کنترل شد (0.05 >p). در پژوهش حاضر اثرات داروی هوماتروپین روی قطر مردمک معنی‌دار نبود. با توجه به نتایج به‌دست‌آمده در خصوص تاثیر داروی هوماتروپین در درمان بیماری eru در اسب‌های مبتلا به این بیماری، مطالعات تکمیلی بیشتر ضروری است.

recurrent equine uveitis (eru) is an important eye disease that causes secondary ocular changessuch as lens dislocation, glaucoma, and retinal damage as chronic inflammatory lesions becomechronic, making it the most common cause of blindness in horses worldwide. homatropin is used as amydriatic drug with pupil dilation and ciliary muscle relaxation during acute iris inflammation. theaim of this study was to evaluate the effect of homatropin 2% eye drops on pupil diameter andintraocular pressure (iop) in healthy horses. for this purpose, 20 apparently healthy horses of crossbreed with an age range of 5 14 years and a weight range of 310 220 kg were selected. at each stage,iop parameters and pupil size were measured before dropping, then repeated 15, 30, 60 and 120minutes after the last drop. data were then analyzed using one way anova analysis. the presentstudy showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the treatment and controlgroups in the studied horses to determine iop and homatropin decreased iop at 15, 30 and 60 minutescompared to the control group (p <0.05). in this study, the effects of homatropin on pupil diameterwere not significant. a supplementary study on the efficacy of homatropin in the treatment of eurdisease in horses with this disease is recommended.
