   Thiourea Modified Copper Electrode: Application to Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Hydrazine

چکیده    In this work the copper electrode modified with thiourea was used forelectrocatalytic oxidation of hydrazine in 0.1 m naoh. the modified electrode showedexcellent character for electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrazine with decrease in overpotentialand increase in the anodic current. the kinetic parameters such as the electron transfercoefficient (?a) and the catalytic rate constant (kcat) for the oxidation of hydrazine weredetermined. the diffusion coefficient (d) of hydrazine in the solution was also calculated bychronoamperometry. the detection limit (3s) was determined as 7.6 ?mol l-1
