چکیده
|
The electrochemical oxidation of some catechols has been studied in the presenceof n-phenylacetoacetamide in aqueous sodium phosphate buffer (ph=7), using cyclicvoltammetry and controlled-potential coulometry. all the catechol derivatives were convertedinto benzofuran derivatives through a michael-type addition reaction ofn-phenylacetoacetamide to anodically generated o-quinones. the electrochemical synthesesbenzofuran derivatives of were successfully performed in one pot in an undivided cell usingan environmentally friendly method .
