   Clinicopathological study of 50 cases of leprosy in Northern Pakistan

چکیده    Objective: to document different clinical and pathological patterns of leprosy in northern pakistan. patients and methods: fifty clinically and histologically confirmed cases of leprosy were enrolled for this study. results: forty patients were male and ten female. seven patients had tuberculoid leprosy, 25 borderline tuberculoid, 3 borderline lepromatous, 13 lepromatous leprosy and 2 were indeterminate type. highest number of patients belonged to khyberpakhtunkhwa and punjab provinces. conclusion: leprosy is still prevalent in pakistan. doctors and other health personnel should be trained to make them aware of the different presentations of this disabling disease.
