تاریخ سیاسی جدید به مثابه روش

«تاریخ سیاسی جدید»، رویکردی مفهومی و روش‌شناختی به حوزه تاریخ است که با شکل‌گیری دانش تاریخ در عرصه تاریخ‌نگاری جدید شکل گرفت و در نیمه دوم قرن بیستم، به یک جریان تقریبا عمومی تبدیل شد. یکی از گفتمان‌های رایج در تاریخ سیاسی تفاوت بین تاریخ سیاسی «جدید» و سنتی است. بحث های موضوعی/مفهومی، مطالعاتی و روش‌شناختی در این رابطه قابل طرح  است و می‌تواند به تعریف و تعمیق مطالعات و بررسی های «تاریخ سیاسی جدید» و  در نتیجه، حرکت مناسب در مسیر  این گرایش کمک کند. بررسی  داده‌ها موبد آن است، با وجود سابقه گسترده در نگارش متون تاریخ سیاسی، چارچوب‌دهی مفهومی و روش‌شناختی در تاریخ سیاسی به معنای عام آن صورت نگرفته و این بی‌توجهی به «تاریخ سیاسی جدید» نیز سرایت کرده است. پژوهش حاضر در پی گشایش مدخلی در حوزه تاریخ سیاسی جدید و پیدایی افق‌های آن است. مبنای این پژوهش بررسی منابع پرداخته‌شده به موضوع «تاریخ سیاسی جدید» است؛ چرا که در «تاریخ سیاسی جدید»، افق‌های تازه‌ای در حوزه تاریخ سیاسی مثل بازنگری در معنا و قلمرو امر سیاسی، مباحث و موضوعات فرهنگی و زبانی و تاثیرات آن در تاریخ سیاسی و شکل‌گیری موضوعاتی چون مشارکت سیاسی گسترده اجتماعی، هویت‌های عمومی و ملی اجتماعی، فلسفه تاریخ  جدید و تاثیر آن بر حوزه سیاست  و غیره قابل بررسی است.

‘New Political History’ as a Method

This study has examined the resources on the ‘new political history, in which on canconsider new horizons in the field of political history, such as reviving the meaning and scope of political affairs, cultural and linguistic issues, and their effects on history Politics, and the formation of topics like widespread political participation, public and national identities, the philosophy of modern history and its impact on politics, etc., can be.
