Background: military forces need to achieve knowledge about first aid and critical principles for protecting themselves and their comrades too. so learning the principles of self-aid and buddy are necessary for all military personnel. the present study has been conducted with the aim of determining the knowledge and attitudes of military officers through training aid and aid it.materials & methods: descriptive cross-sectional study has been conducted on 388 employees of a military center. stratified random sampling method was used to select the employees. data collected from valid and reliable self-designed questionnaire. data analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test and anova analysis with software spss18.results: the mean knowledge score of personnel, and the average percentage of self-aid and buddy attitude training were15.56 ± 2.38 and 83.81± 7.5, respectively. 56.2 and 65.7 percent of employees participated in the study had a good level of education, knowledge, and the attitudes towards self-aid and buddy. conclusion: according to present study, knowledge of more than43 percent of employees is not desirable, so self and buddy aid in military style training using modern methods of teaching with regard to future threats at a regular time intervals is highly recommended.
