منزلت اجتماعی و ادب: عذرخواهی برپایه‌ نظریه‌ «وجهه»

پژوهش حاضر، تاثیر منزلت اجتماعی بر رعایت ادب گویشوران زبان را در کارگفت عذرخواهی، طبق الگوی ادب براون و لوینسون(brown levinson) (1978) مورد بررسی قرار می‌دهد. روش انجام پژوهش کمی‌وکیفی بوده و جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از طریق ارسال پرسشنامه به صورت الکترونیکی به دانشجویان انجام شد. پرسش‌نامه‌ (dct) راهبردهای عذرخواهی را برای 12 خطای رایج در جامعه مورد ارزیابی قرار داد. مشارکان پژوهش شامل تعدادی از دانشجویان دانشگاه‌های پردیس الزهرا، علمی‌و کاربردی جهاد دانشگاهی و خانه کارگر زنجان بودند. پس از بررسی پاسخ‌های جمع‌آوری شده از 44 دانشجوی زن و 62 دانشجوی مرد، نتایج نشان داد افراد بیشتر از راهبرد ادب منفی در بیان عذرخواهی استفاده می‌کنند. بررسی تاثیر منزلت اجتماعی بر استفاده از راهبرد‌های ادب نشان داد در هر سه جایگاه منزلت اجتماعی مساوی، بالا و پایین، افراد از راهبرد ادب منفی بیشتر استفاده می‌کنند. همچنین نتایج پژوهش نشان داد استفاده از راهبرد‌های ادب در جبران خطا به نوع خطای انجام شده بستگی دارد و افراد با توجه به خطای صورت گرفته از مناسب‌ترین راهبرد عذرخواهی برای جبران آن استفاده می‌کنند. نتایج پژوهش بین جنسیت و استفاده از راهبرد ادب تفاوت معناداری را نشان نداد.

social status and politeness: apology based on the face theory

the present study examines the impact of social status on the speakers’ politeness in the apology, according to the brown & levinson's model (1978). the research method was quantitative and the data was collected by sending the questionnaire to the students electronically. the questionnaire (dct) evaluated apology strategies for 12 common errors in the community. after examining the answers collected from 44 female and 62 male students, the results showed that most people use the negative polite strategy to express an apology. investigating the impact of social status on politeness showed that in all three positions of social status equal, up and down, people use negative polite strategy the most. the use of polite strategies to compensate for mistakes was based on the type of mistake, and the most appropriate apology strategy was used to compensate for it. the study results did not show any significant difference between gender and the use of polite strategy.
