چارچوبی برای پژوهش پیرامون کودکان و رسانه‎ های نوین

رسانه‏ای شدنِ بیش از پیش فرهنگ کودکی ضرورت توجه جدی به پژوهش در این حوزه را می‎طلبد. مطالعه نسبت بین کودک و رسانه موضوعی بین رشته‎ای است که باید مقولات بسیاری را مدنظر قرار دهد. در این مقاله با رویکرد توصیفی تحلیلی به معرفی رویکردهای مختلف برای مطالعه کودک و رسانه و ارزیابی آنان می‏پردازد. رویکرد پژوهش بر روی محیط رسانه‌ای کودکان می‌تواند کودک‌محور و یا رسانه‌محور باشد یعنی در یکی کودک موضوع اصلی و رسانه زمینه بررسی است و در دیگری برعکس. البته در نهایت همین بافت‌های کودکی هستند که معانی را شکل می‌دهند.آن دسته از کاربردها و تاثیرات رسانه نیز به نوبه خود به تجربیات کودکی شکل می‌بخشند. برای بهره بردن از مزایای هر دو رویکرد می‏توان به نظریات مرتبط با مدرنیته متاخر به عنوان ابزاری برای استحکام بخشیدن به رویکردهای کودک‌محور و رسانه‌محور توجه کرد. این نگاه موجب می‎شود بتوانیم از مزایای هر دو رویکرد بهره‌مند شویم و در عین حال برمحدودیت‌های هریک فائق آییم، آنهم نه تنها از طریق فهم اینکه هرکدام از این دو رویکرد چگونه بخش مهمی از بافت دیگری را تشکیل می‌دهد بلکه از طریق فهم فرایندهای عام تغییرات اجتماعی که هم محیط رسانه‌‌ها و هم محیط کودکان را تحت تاثیر قرار می‌دهد.

A framework for research on children and new media

The increasing media coverage of childhood culture requires serious attention to research in this area. The study of the relationship between the child and the media is an interdisciplinary subject that must consider many categories. In this article, with a descriptiveanalytical approach, it introduces different approaches to studying the child and the media and evaluating them. The research approach on children’s media environment can be childcentered or mediaoriented, ie in one child is the main subject and the medium of study and in the other vice versa. Of course, it is ultimately the child contexts that shape meanings. Those uses and influences of the media, in turn, shape childhood experiences. To take advantage of both approaches, theories related to late modernity can be considered as a tool to strengthen childcentered and mediaoriented approaches. This view allows us to take advantage of both approaches and at the same time overcome the limitations of each, not only by understanding how each of these two approaches forms an important part of the other context, but also by understanding general processes. Social change that affects both the media environment and the children’s environment.
