حس شوخ‌طبعی و فرسودگی شغلی در بین مدرسان زبان انگلیسی: نقش میانجی خودکارآمدی

این مطالعه به بررسی رابطه بین حس شوخ‌طبعی، خودکارآمدی و فرسودگی شغلی در بین مدرسان ایرانی زبان انگلیسی‌ پرداخته و تاثیر میانجی خودکارآمدی بر رابطه بین شوخ‌طبعی مدرسان و فرسودگی شغلی آنان موردبررسی قرار داده است. ازاین‌رو، صد و هفت مدرس زبان انگلیسی از موسسات خصوصی زبان به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شده است. یافته‌های تحلیل مدل‌سازی معادلات ساختاری نشان می‌دهد حس شوخ‌طبعی و خودکارآمدی می‌تواند به‌طور مستقیم و معناداری فرسودگی شغلی را پیش‌بینی کند. علاوه بر این، حس شوخ‌طبعی به‌طور مثبت با خودکارآمدی مرتبط است. بخش دیگری از یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد خودکارآمدی به‌طور قابل‌توجهی تاثیر حس شوخ‌طبعی بر فرسودگی شغلی را میانجی‌ می‌کند.

sense of humor and burnout among efl teachers: the mediating role of self-efficacy

this study investigated the relationships between sense of humor, self-efficacy, and burnout among iraning efl (english as a foreign language) teachers. further, the mediating effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between teacher sense of humor and burnout was investigated. to this end 107 efl teachers from private language insitutes were selected through convenience sampling method. the findings of structural equation modeling analysis indicated that sense of humor and self-efficacy could inversely and significantly predict burnout. further, sense of humor positively related to self-efficacy. this study also revealed that self-efficacy significantly mediated the effect of sense of humor on burnout among the efl teachers. the implications were discussed, and suggestions were made for further research.
