بررسی چگونگی انتقال اصطلاحات سیاسی‌اجتماعی مقیّد به ‌فرهنگ در ترجمۀ روسی رمان سووشون سیمین دانشور بر اساس آراء سرگِی وِلاخوف و سیدِر فِلورین

اصطلاحات مقیّدبه‌فرهنگ یا فرهنگ‌بسته‌ها به عناصر فرهنگی و مفاهیم بومی موجود در جوامع مختلف اشاره دارند که مترجمان همیشه در انتقال صحیح آنها از زبان مبدا به مقصد با دشواری‌های فراوانی روبه‌رو هستند. حفظ بیشترین بار معنایی و فرهنگی در انتقال این عناصر مهم‌ترین دستاورد مترجمان به‌ویژه در حوزۀ ترجمۀ ادبی است. سرگِی وِلاخوف و سیدِر فِلورین، از نظریّه‌پردازان مشهور بلغاری در حوزۀ ترجمه، عناصر فرهنگی را بر اساس موضوعات مختلف از قبیل جغرافیایی، قوم‌نگاری، سیاسی‑‌اجتماعی و نظامی طبقه‌بندی کرده و راهبردهایی را جهت انتقال صحیح آنها به دیگر زبان‌ها ارائه کرده‌اند که مبنای کار در  پژوهش حاضر است. در این تحقیق، چگونگی انتقال عناصر فرهنگیِ سیاسی‑‌اجتماعی در ترجمۀ روسی رمان سووشون سیمین دانشور به روش خوانش و مقابلۀ تطبیقی و شیوۀ تحلیلی‑توصیفی بررسی شده است. بررسی‌ها نشان داد که در برگرداندن عناصر فرهنگیِ سیاسی‑‌اجتماعی در این رمان بیش از همه از ترجمۀ تقریبی ‑و شیوۀ معادل کارکردی‑ و کمتر از همه از آوانویسی، حرف‌نویسی و ترجمۀ ضمنی استفاده شده است. در بسیاری از موارد نیز بارِ فرهنگی و گاه حتّی بار معنایی، زبان‌شناختی و سبک‌شناختی واژگان و عبارت‌ها از دست رفته است. درمجموع، موفقیّت مترجمان در انتقال بارِ فرهنگی در حوزۀ اصطلاحات سیاسی‌اجتماعی به متن مقصد نسبی تلقّی می‌شود.

An Analysis of Transfer of Sociopolitical Realia Based on Vlakhov and Florin’s Theories: The Case of the Russian Translation of Simin Daneshvar’s Savushun

Culture–specific items or realia refer to cultural items and native concepts in different societies, which frequently pose a great difficulty for translators. Concerning the transfer of realia from the source language into the target language, it is considered a great achievement for translators to preserve much of their semantic and cultural load, not least in literary translation. The present research is based on the ideas of Sergey Vlakhov and Sider Florin, the famous Bulgarian translation theorists, who classified realia into geographic, ethnographic, sociopolitical, and military categories and proposed a number of strategies to translate them properly from one language into another. Relying on a comparative and analytical–descriptive methodology, this research studied how sociopolitical realia had been rendered in the Russian translation of Simin Daneshvar’s novel Savushun. According to the results, approximate translation–specifically the functional analogue–was found to be the most frequently used strategy while transcription, transliteration, and contextual translation had been used the least. Many cases were found in which the cultural and even semantic, linguistic, and stylistic load of the words and phrases had been lost. In general, the success of Russian translators to transfer the cultural load of sociopolitical realia in to the target text is considered relative.
