بررسی جامعه‌شناختی زباهنگ مدرک ستایی و کاربرد گفتمانی آن در زبان فارسی

بها دادن به مدرک تحصیلی و تلاش برای کسب مدارج عالی در جوامع کنونی یکی از دغدغه‌های افراد به‌شمار می‌آید و این امر تا بدان‌جا پیش می‌رود که در برخی موارد منجر به ستایش مدرک تحصیلی (مدرک‌ستایی) می‌شود. مهم‌دانستن تحصیلات دانشگاهی موجب شده که عدة زیادی از مردم به آن اهمیت داده و کسب مدرک را جزو امتیازاتی برای خود بدانند که آدمی را به اهداف موردنظر خود نظیر ارتقای جایگاه شغلی و اجتماعی می‌رساند. همچنین، داشتن مدرک تحصیلی یکی از راه‌های سهولت در امر ازدواج، راضی نگه داشتن اطرافیان از داشتن تحصیلات بالا اعم از والدین و غیره است. بی‌تردید، در انتخاب شغل مورد علاقه مدرک تحصیلی و مهارت اهمیت ویژه‌ای پیدا می‌کنند که در این پژوهش نگارنده بر این تلاش بوده به گفتمان‌هایی از زبان فارسی در رابطه با مدرک‌ستایی بپردازد که در میان اقشار مختلف جامعه رواج داشته است و از جوان تا میانسال با آن درگیر خواهند بود. در همین راستا به معرفی واژة زباهنگ (زبان + فرهنگ) پرداخته می‌شود. زباهنگ، ترکیبی از زبان و فرهنگ است که با تاکید بر رابطة دو سویه میان زبان و فرهنگ، نما و شمای فرهنگی یک جامعه را نشان می‌دهد و با بررسی آن‌ها می‌توان به فرهنگ‌های مستتر و پنهانی یک فرهنگ دست یافت. نگارنده بر این تلاش بوده است زباهنگ مدرک‌ستایی در گفتمان‌های زبان فارسی را در چارچوب الگویspeaking هایمز مورد بررسی قرار دهد. بدین‌منظور، 150 گفتمان از گفتگوهای افراد با توجه به وضعیت اقتصادی، سن آنان، تحصیلاتشان، شاغل بودن یا محصل بودنشان بررسی و کنکاش شد که این مکالمات در مکان‌های عمومی، خصوصی، رسمی و غیررسمی با گویشوران زن (95) نفر و مرد (55) نفر و نمایندگانی از استان‌های خراسان رضوی (مشهد، نیشابور و سبزوار)، گلستان (گرگان)، خراسان جنوبی (طبس)، کرمان (سیرجان)، آذربایجان شرقی (تبریز) و تهران (پاکدشت) صورت گرفت. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد که افراد در فرهنگ ایران با اهدافی نظیر کسب علم به‌معنای واقعی، پزدادن، رقابت، کسب جایگاه اجتماعی و شغل بهتر، محترم دانسته شدن و تایید شدن توسط افراد دیگر، سهولت در امر ازدواج و غیره از زباهنگ مدرک‌ستایی استفاده می‌کنند. به‌نظر می‌رسد که گاه میان مدرک تحصیلی و مهارت تقابل پیش می‌آید اما در نهایت هر دو مکمل یکدیگرند. بنابراین، فرهنگ سالم ایجاب می‌کند هر دو مفهوم مذکور در کنار یکدیگر موجب موفقیت فرد شوند و باید از آن‌ها در کنار یکدیگر و در راه شکوفایی تفکر سالم، ایده‌های بهتر و زندگی آگاهانه‌تر بهره جست.

A Sociological Study of Cultuling of “Certificate Admiration” and its Discoursal Function in Persian

AbstractObtaining academic certificates has become important in societies, which, at times, is known as “certificate admiration” in our society. In defining certificate admiration, which is a derivative, compound word, it should be noted that the importance of university education has made many people consider certificates as an advantage for a person to achieve their desired goals, including promoting their career and social status. Obtaining a degree can facilitate marriage and guarantee the happiness of the people around us, including parents. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, degrees and skills are of paramount importance in choosing a job. The present inquiry attempts to examine and analyze mainstream discourses, which are rooted in Persian culture and are associated with certificate admiration among individuals of different ages; hence, the concept of “Cultuling” is introduced here. This coined term consists of language and culture, i.e., “culture in language”, representing people’s culture and the science relevant to its study is called “Culturology of Language”. Following the existing studies on “Cultuling”, the present study draws on Hymes’ SPEAKING model. Simply put, attempts were made to analyze cultuling of certificate admiration in Persian language discourses in the framework of the Hymes’ model. For this purpose, 150 conversations belonging to individuals were examined and explored according to their economic status, age, education, and their employment status. The conversations took place in public and private places and formal and informal settings. The corpus was gathered from 95 female and 55 males and representatives from Khorasan Razavi (Mashhad, Neishabur, Sabzevar), Golestan (Gorgan), South Khorasan (Tabas), Kerman (Sirjan), East Azarbaijan (Tabriz) and Tehran (Pakdasht) provinces. The majority of the participants were from Mashhad and associated cities and a handful of the participants were from other provinces. The results showed that individuals in Persian culture are engaged in conversation with people on certificate admiration so as to follow these purposes, among other things, gaining knowledge, competing, showing off, gaining social status and a better job, and being respected and approved by people. It seems that there is often a confrontation between a degree and a skill, but both are complementary in the end. Therefore, in a healthy culture, both concepts can positively contribute to the individual’s success. The two should be valued and used together to promote healthy thinking, generate better ideas, and lead a life with more awareness.
