بررسی رفتار متقابل زوج‌ها در شعر سرزمین بی‌حاصل سروده تی. اس. الیوت بر اساس تئوری روانشناسی اریک برن

تاکنون بسیاری از محققان به پیچیدگی ساختاری شعر سرزمین بی‌‌حاصل سروده تی. اس. الیوت اشاره کرده‌اند که این پیچیدگی‌ها در روابط پرسوناژها نیز نمود یافته است. در این مقاله، گفتار و رفتار پنج زوج از میان مجموع پرسوناژهای این شعر، براساس تئوری تحلیل رفتار متقابل اریک برن، مورد بررسی قرار خواهد گرفت. به همین منظور، آسیب شناسی روانی زوجها در این شعر واکاوی خواهد شد تا ریشه مشکلات حل و فصل نشده آنها شناسایی شده و به این وسیله، درک روشن‌تری از روابط بین آنان حاصل شود. نتایج این تحقیق گویای آن است که از میان پنج زیرگروه مورد بررسی جهت آسیب شناسی ساختاری‌، در مجموع دو مورد آلودگی بالغ به کودک، دو مورد آلودگی بالغ به والد و یک مورد بالغ طردکننده مشاهده می‌شود. بنابراین، حضور موثر حالت من بالغ که می‌تواند باعث ایجاد تعادل بین دو حالت من والد و من کودک شود، در روابط درون فردی و بین فردی این زوجها کمرنگ است.

Transactional Analysis of the Couples in T.S. Eliot 's The Waste Land based on Eric Berne 's Psychological Theory

Until now, a large number of researchers have pointed to the structural complexity of The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot as it is shown in the relationship of the personages. In this paper, the sayings and the behaviors of five couples among many other personages of this poem are studied based on Eric Berne apos;s theory of Transactional Analysis. For this purpose, the Structural Pathology of the couples is examined to identify the roots to their unsolved problems through which one can clearly understand the present condition of their relationships. The results of the present research indicates that two cases of Child Contamination, two persons with Parent Contamination, and one individual with Excluding Adult are observed in total out of five subcategories of Structural Pathology. Therefore, the presence of the Adult Ego State, which is able to balance out the Parent and the Child Ego states is deficient in the intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships of these couples.
