از دغدغه زمان تا بحران هویت در داستان گشتیِ شبانه نوشتۀ پاتریک مودیانو

ادبیات داستانی قرن بیستم فرانسه با اِدغام‌کردن واقعیت و خیال در بطن سازه‌های داستانی توانسته است بسیاری از حوادث گذشته را با روایت منحصربه‌فرد بازسازی کند. تاریخ و گذشته یک سرزمین از ورای ادبیات و داستان‌های رئالیستی و اتوبیوگرافیک می‌تواند هویت و عناصر فکری آن سرزمین را نشان دهد. جنگ جهانی دوم مثل بسیاری از درون‌مایه‌های دیگر برای نویسندگان معاصر فرانسوی همچون پاتریک مودیانو ابزاری را فراهم می‌کند تا با توسل به رخدادهای فراموش شده و با توجه به تحولات داستان‌پردازی، از ورای تجربه حسی، تاریخ و حوادثی را به تصویر کشند که هیچ‌کس را از آن گریزی نیست. داستانِ گشتی شبانه یا کاوش هویتی در تیرگی و تاریکی‌ها واقعیاتی را به تصویر می‌کشد که جدا از تجربه، در بطن حافظه و پریشانی‌های یک فرد، جامعه، ملت قرا گرفته است و برای به تصویر درآوردنِ آن باید به زمان و مکان متوسل شد تا ریشه هویت‌گرایی یا هویت‌ستیزی شخصیت‌های داستانی را در قلمرو خاطره و روایت نشان داد.

From the Concern of Time to the Crisis of Identity in the Novel “Night Rounds” by Patrick Modiano

Abstract;By merging reality and imagination at the heart of fictional components, the French fictional literature of the 20th century could rebuild most of the past incidents through unique narrations. A country’s History, from beyond its realistic and autobiographical literature and stories, can present the country’s identity and frameworks of thought. By resorting to the forgotten events and paying attention to evolutions of storytelling from beyond the sensual and historical experiences, the Second World War, like many other motifs, provided opportunities for contemporary French writers like Patrick Modiano to depict events in which there is no escape for anyone. The story of  Night Rounds is a probing of identity in blur and darkness, depicting realities which are placed at the heart of a nation’s or individual’s memory and distresses far from experience, the depiction of which requires one to resort to the concepts of time and place so as to be able to demonstrate the roots of fictional characters’ identitism or antiidentitism in the realm of memory and narration.;
