Abstract    the relationship between muslims and christians, as followers of two monotheistic faiths, reflects the historical and social complexities of these communities, ranging fromcultural and amicable interactions to political and hostile confrontations. islamophobia, characterized by discrimination, exclusion, intimidation, and violence, is the result ofvarious historical, religious, political, and social factors that have evolved over time.this study aims to analyze the interplay of these factors through a mechanism termedthe geometry of faith and power, wherein the religious and political interactionsbetween muslims and christians have played a significant role in shaping negativestereotypes.accordingly, this research emphasizes the need for a critical reassessment ofboth historical and contemporary approaches to islamophobia to achieve a morecomprehensive understanding of this phenomenon and to pave the way for solutions tomitigate its challenges. the article argues that contrary to common perceptions, islamophobia is not merely a consequence of actions by the christian west but rather acomplex outcome of shared interactions between eastern and western christianity aswell as internal behaviors within islamic societies. furthermore, the study highlights that even after centuries of muslim-christian interactions, the geometry of faith andpower, which once contributed to islamophobia at the external borders of the islamicworld, continues to operate within the internal boundaries of the muslim world today.
