مقایسه ایده هلد و هابرماس درباره امکان جایگزینی الگوی دموکراسی مطلوب با دموکراسی لیبرال

«جهانی شدن»، بسیاری از مفاهیم کلیدی سنتی سیاست را دگرگون کرده است. یکی از این مفاهیم، «دموکراسی» است. هلد و هابرماس نسبت به دموکراسی در عصر جهانی شدن، توجه ویژه ای مبذول داشته اند. با توجه به تحولاتی که در عصر جهانی شدن رخ داده است، هلد و هارماس کوشیده اند که به ترتیب الگوهای «دموکراسی جهان وطنی» و «دموکراسی مشورتی» را جایگزین دموکراسی لیبرال کنند. هدف این مقاله آن است که نشان داده شود چگونه هابرماس و هلد کوشیده اند تا مدل دموکراسی پیشنهادی خود را جایگزین الگوی لیبرال دموکراسی نمایند. هابرماس با تکیه بر سه نظام «دولت»، «اقتصاد» و «جهان زیست» و مفاهیم «حوزه عمومی» عقلانیت و کنش ارتباطی و هلد از طریق بازسازی نظم جهانی کنونی این کار را انجام می دهند. یافته های این مقاله بیانگر آن است که تلاش هر دو متفکر برای دستیابی به هدف موردنظر، به دلایلی از جمله محافظه کارانه بودن ساختار فکری هلد و در نتیجه تمایل وی به حفظ وضع موجود از یک سو و توجه بیش از حد خوش بینانه هابرماس به اجماع و عقل گرایی از سوی دیگر، به نتیجه نرسیده است. این مقاله به لحاظ روش و محتوا، توصیفی- تحلیلی است و داده های مورد نیاز به شیوه کتابخانه ای به دست آمده است.

comparing held and habermas’s idea of the possibility of replacing a desirable model of democracy with liberal democracy

globalization has transformed many of the key traditional concepts of politics. one of these concepts is democracy. given the changes that have taken place in the age of globalization, held and habermas have tried to replace the models of cosmopolitan democracy and deliberative democracy with liberal democracy respectively. the purpose of this paper is to show the efforts of habermas and held to replace their proposed model with the model of liberal democracy. habermas describes his proposed model of democracy by relying on the three systems of government, economy and the lifeword. but held does this by rebuilding the current world order. the findings of this article indicate that the efforts of both thinkers to achieve the desired goal have not been successful. the main reason for this failure is the conservatism of held’s intellectual structure, and consequently desire to maintain the status quo on the one hand, and habermas’ overly optimistic view of consensus and rationalism on the other. this article is descriptive-analytical in terms of method and content, and the required data has been obtained through library methods.
