Nowadays tourism industry has an important status in our country and in all developing countries because of its cultural and income producing roles. iran has been one of the tourist centers in the world due to its excellent history, civilization and culture. local markets of iran are considered the potentials as well as historical and cultural attractions of this country among which the bazaar of tabriz is regarded as the longest indoor bazaar in the world which has been recorded in unesco’s world heritage. the bazaar can be considered as one of the most important tourist centers in tabriz which can have a significant role in tourist attraction and tourism development in this city. the present study focused on the role of this bazaar in tourist attraction. the results of the study showed that the bazaar of tabriz can greatly attract tourists of the other cities and countries. the bazaar may be regarded as a good potentiality in tourism and tourist attraction.
