اثربخشی کاربست خانه‌های الکانین بر بهبود آگاهی واج‌شناختی و سیالی خواندن دانش‌آموزان دچار ناتوانی یادگیری خواندن: یک مطالعه مقدماتی در ایران

هدف پژوهش حاضر ارزیابی کاربست اثربخشی خانه‌های الکانین بر بهبود آگاهی واج‌شناختی و سیالی خواندن دانش‌آموزان دچار اختلال یادگیری خواندن بود. به همین منظور در یک طرح آزمایشی تک آزمودنی، 5 دانش‌آموز (3 دختر و 2 پسر) پایه سوم دبستان انتخاب شدند. با استفاده آزمون تشخیصی خواندن (شیرازی و نیلی پور، 1384) و آزمون آگاهی واج‌شناختی (دستجردی و سلیمانی، 1384)، سیالی خواندن و آگاهی واج‌شناختی شرکت‌کنندگان قبل از مداخله سنجش شد. سپس در طی 11 جلسه انفرادی، 44 کلمه به شرکت‌کنندگان آموزش داده شد. درنهایت، یک هفته پس از مداخله، دوباره سیالی خواندن و آگاهی واج‌شناختی شرکت‌کنندگان سنجش شد. برای تحلیل داده‌ها، علاوه بر تحلیل دیداری نمودار، از فرمول درصد بهبودی و آزمون آماری ویلکاکسون نیز استفاده شد. یافته‌ها نشان داد که استفاده از خانه‌های الکانین باعث بهبود آماری معنادار آگاهی واج‌شناختی شده است. همچنین، سیالی خواندن دانش‌آموزان شرکت‌کننده در پژوهش، هم به لحاظ آماری و هم به لحاظ بالینی به‌صورت معناداری بهبود یافته بود. خانه‌های الکانین به‌عنوان یک روش آوایی و چند حسی می‌تواند آگاهی واج‌شناختی و سیالی خواندن دانش‌آموزان دچار اختلال یادگیری خواندن را بهبود ببخشد.

the effectiveness of using elkonin boxes on improving phonological awareness and reading fluency of students with reading learning disabilities: a pilot study in iran

the aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of using elkonin boxes on improving phonological awareness and reading fluency of students with reading learning disabilities. for this purpose, in an experimental single case design, 5 students (3 girls and 2 boys) of the third grade of primary school were selected. using diagnostic reading test (shirazi and nilipour, 2005) and phonological awareness test (dastjerdi and soleimani, 2005), participants’ reading fluency and phonological awareness were assessed before the intervention. then, during 11 sessions, 44 words were taught to the participants individually. finally, one week after the intervention, participants’ reading fluency and phonological awareness were assessed again. in order to analyze the data, in addition to visual analysis of the chart, the recovery percentage and wilcoxon statistical test were used. the results showed that the use of elkonin boxes had a statistically significant improvement in phonological awareness. also, the reading fluency of the students participating in the study was significantly improved, both statistically and clinically. elkonin boxes as a phonetic and multisensory method can improve the phonological awareness and reading fluency of students with reading learning disabilities.
