پس از پایان جنگ سرد، آمریکا بیش‌ترین نفوذ را به عنوان یک قدرت بزرگ در خاورمیانه پیدا کرده است و به این جهت راهبردهای مختلفی را برای برتری بر دیگر قدرت‌های رقیب منطقه‌ای و فرامنطقه‌ای و از جمله ایران استفاده کرده است. بر این پایه، پرسش اصلی مقاله آن است که پس از خروج آمریکا از برجام؛ این کشور، چه راهبردهای سیاسی و امنیتی‌ای را برای حفظ منافع خود و امنیت در خاورمیانه اتخاذ کرده‌ است؟ روش تحقیق مقاله، روش توصیفی و تحلیلی است و هدف مقاله آن است که با بررسی رفتار و اقدامات امریکا، راهبردهای امنیتی آمریکا در منطقه را مشخص نماید. نتیجه کلی مقاله هم نشان می‌دهد که آمریکا، پس خروج از برجام، راهبردهای تهاجمی و مقابله‌جویانه در زمینه‌‌ی امنیتی در خاورمیانه اتخاذ کرده‌ است تا منافع خود و امنیت در منطقه را تامین کند که این امر به افزایش تنش در منطقه دامن زده است.
