شیخ فضل‌الله نوری در تاریخ‌نگاری غرب‌گرایان و غربیان با نگاهی به شخصیت ایشان

یکی از سیاست‌های استعمار برای به استثمار کشیدن ملت‌ها، تخریب ذهنیت جامعه نسبت به رهبران قیام‌ها و مبارزانی است که در راه استقلال کشور پایداری کرده‌اند. چنین سیاستی نیز در ایران، بسیار نمود دارد ازجمله کسانی که به تخریب شخصیت وی پرداخته شده، آیت‌الله شیخ فضل‌الله نوری است که در مواجهه با نفوذ استعمار در دوران مشروطه بسیار مبارزه نمود و نماد مقاومت انگاشته می‌شد. مسئله پژوهش حاضر، عمدتاً به نوع ادبیات تاریخ‌نگاری غربی‌ها و جریان همسو با غرب به شیخ فضل‌الله و شیوه مبارزات ایشان در جنبش مشروطه می‌پردازد. یافته‌های تحقیق نمایانگر آن است که هجمه‌های این‌گونه از مورخین نسبت به شیخ فضل‌الله با اتهام به رشوه‌گیری، محافظه‌کاری و استبدادخواهی به دنبال نفی رهبری ایشان در مبارزه با جریان استعمار در تاریخ است. نوشتار حاضر بر آن است تا با روش توصیفی و تحلیلی، بر پایه نگاهی بر منابع نوشته‌شده به‌وسیله این جریان تاریخ‌نگار، به بررسی شخصیت شیخ فضل‌الله در آثار آنها بپردازد.

Sheikh Fazlollah Noori as Viewed in the Historiography of Those Koving the West and the Western with a View to His Personality

One of the policies of colonialism to exploit nations is to destroy the mentality of society against the leaders of the uprisings and the movements for the independence of the state. Such a policy has been widely used in Iran also as the one in the case of Sheikh Fazlollah Noori for destroying his personality, a religious outstanding who fought hard against colonial influence in the constitutional era and was considered as a symbol of resistance. The present study mainly deals with the style of Western historiographcal literature and its followers as viewed on Sheikh Fazlallah and his style of struggle in the constitutional movement. The findings show that such historiographers have opposed Sheikh Fazlollah`s leadership in the fight against colonialism with such charges as bribery, conservatism and despotism. The present article seeks to examine the personality of Sheikh Fazlollah in their works through a descriptive and analytical approach, based on the sources written by this historiographical process.
