تبیین شاخص‌های فضاهای شهری رویداد مدار با رویکرد رویدادهای فرهنگی - آیینی (مطالعه‌ای در بستر ایران، شهر مشهد)

بیان مسئله: فضاهای شهری در طی سالیان در معرض تغییرات و دگردیسی ناشی از نیروهای متعارض قرار داشته‌اند. این فضاها درگذشته بستر رویدادهای گوناگون و واجد ارزش‌های هویتی در خاطرۀ جمعی بوده‌اند. امروزه توجه به برنامه‌ریزی برای مدیریت وقوع رویدادها در فضاهای شهری مغفول مانده است. همچنین باتوجه‌به طرح‌های توسعۀ شهری بزرگ‌مقیاس در کشورهای درحال‌توسعه و ازبین‌رفتن بافت در مداخلات گسترده، فضاهای شهری علاوه‌بر فقدان ساختار مناسب برای جذب پایدار مخاطب، فاقد رویدادهای لازم برای ایجاد تجربۀ مناسب برای مخاطب و توسعه بستر زندگی اجتماعی در شهر هستند. از این رو غالباً رویدادهای فرهنگی - آیینی مردمی در فضاهایی فاقد مولفه‌های مطلوب فضاهای شهری برگزار می‌شوند. پرسش اساسی که در این راستا وجود دارد این است که فضاهای شهری مطلوب برای میزبانی رویدادهای فرهنگی و آیینی در ایران باید دارای چه شاخص‌ها و ویژگی‌هایی باشند تا بتوانند به‌عنوان بستری پویا برای افزایش کیفیت زندگی شهری ایفای نقش کند؟هدف پژوهش: هدف این پژوهش تبیین یک مدل مفهومی برای ارتقا کیفیت فضاهای شهری رویداد مدار مبتنی‌بر رویدادهای مختلف فرهنگی- آیینی است.روش پژوهش: پژوهش حاضر از نظر روش‌شناسی از روش کیفی تحلیل مضامین یا تحلیل تماتیک صورت می‌پذیرد. از مطالعۀ اسنادی، مشاهده، پرسش‌نامه، مصاحبۀ عمیق در بستر شهر فرهنگی - آیینی مشهد و تحلیل‌های نرم‌افزاری به‌عنوان ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات بهره گرفته می‌شود.نتیجه‌گیری: پس از تحلیل یافته‌ها، مدل مفهومی پژوهش در راستا تبیین شاخص‌های فضاهای شهری رویدادمدار ارائه شده است. فضاهای شهری رویدادمدار با رویکرد فرهنگی-آیینی، زمانی به بلوغ عملکردی و معنایی می‌رسند که طراحی آنها از سطح کالبدی فراتر رفته و به سطح ادراک، تجربه و مشارکت شهروندان ارتقا یابد و این امر از رهگذر درک عمیق نیازهای فرهنگی-آیینی جامعه، ترجمۀ آن به شاخص‌های طراحی، و به‌کارگیری آن در ساختار فضا ممکن خواهد بود؛ لذا، این پژوهش چارچوبی برای سنجش و هدایت این فرایند در اختیار طراحان شهری، مدیران فرهنگی، و برنامه‌ریزان قرار می‌دهد.

explaining the indicators of event-oriented urban public spaces with a cultural–ritual approach (a case study in mashhad, iran)

problem statement: urban spaces have undergone transformations over the years due to various forces during periods of urban change. historically, these spaces served as venues for diverse events and carried identity values embedded in collective memory. however, contemporary urban planning has largely overlooked the design and preparation of urban spaces to host events. in addition, large-scale urban development projects in developing countries and the resulting destruction of historical textures have led to urban spaces that, besides lacking suitable structures for attracting audiences and ensuring sustainable use, remain primarily transitional. consequently, cultural–ritual events by the public are often held in spaces lacking the essential components of functional urban environments. the central question addressed in this study is: what indicators and characteristics should desirable urban spaces in iran possess to host cultural and ritual events effectively, thereby serving as dynamic platforms for enhancing urban quality of life?research objective: this research aims to identify indicators of urban spaces based on cultural-ritual events to improve the quality of event-based urban spaces. this study seeks to provide a conceptual model to understand and guide the design of urban spaces with the ability to host various cultural-ritual events.research method: methodologically, this research employed a qualitative approach using thematic analysis. data were collected through document review, observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews within the cultural–ritual context of mashhad, iran, supplemented by software-based analyses.conclusion: following data analysis, a conceptual model was proposed to elucidate the indicators of event-oriented urban spaces. urban spaces designed with a cultural–ritual perspective achieve functional and semantic maturity when their design transcends physical form and addresses citizens’ perception, experience, and participation. this is accomplished through a deep understanding of the community’s cultural–ritual needs, translating them into design indicators, and integrating them into spatial structures. the study thus provides a framework for urban designers, cultural managers, and planners to assess and guide this process effectively.
