مطالعات تطبیقی درآموزش و پرورش: کاربست روشهای جدید تحقیق

اگرچه مطالعه تطبیقی نظام های آموزشی دارای پیشینه ای تاریخی در بسیاری از جوامع بشری است،امادر چند دهه اخیر افزایش علاقه مندی پژوهشگران به کسب آگاهی از وضع و نقش نظامهای آموزشی درروند پیشرفتهای اجتماعی - اقتصادی توام با رشد روزافزون فناوریهای اطلاعاتی - ارتباطی، گرایش به پژوهشهای تطبیقی را سرعت بخشیده است. این موضوع لزوم آگاهی از تئوریها، قواعد و روشهای حاکم برعلم آموزش و پرورش تطبیقی و شناخت روشهای پژوهش در مطالعات تطبیقی را دوچندان کرده است. عدم توجه به این نیاز در ایران سببشده است که فایده پژوهشهای تطبیقی به کسب شناختی سطحی از تفاوتها و شباهتهای موجود میان نظامهای آموزشی محدود شود. هدف مقاله حاضر تاکید بر پرهیز از کاربست مداوم و بعضاًنادرست یک روش پژوهش در مطالعات تطبیقی آموزش و پرورش ازطریق معرفی روشهای جدیداست. بخش نخست مقاله به بررسی جایگاه پژوهشهای تطبیقی و وضعیت فعلی آن می پردازد. در بخش دوم، ویژگیهای حاکم بر پژوهشهای تطبیقی توضیح داده می شوند. بخش اصلی مقاله به توضیح سه روش تحقیق تطبیقی یعنی روشهای توافق، تفاوت و جبر بولی اختصاص یافته است. مقاله با مرور اجمالی مباحث و ارائه پیشنهادهای راهبردی برای پژوهشگران به پایان می رسد.

Madandar Arani, Ph.D.Conducting comparative studies in education has a longlasting background in many societies; however, in the last few decades, the tremendous growth of Information and Communication Technology alongside researchers rsquo; interest in broadening their knowledge of the role of education systems in socioeconomic development of countries have yielded a growth in comparative research in all humanities disciplines. Hence, awareness of the theories, methods as well as rules applied in comparative studies is of vital importance. Nevertheless, comparative educational studies in Iran have been confined to a superficial understanding of the similarities and differences between education systems. Therefore, the present article aims at introducing new methods of research in comparative educational studies. The paper starts with an introduction to the comparative studies. Next, the characteristics of comparative research are explained. The main part of the paper elaborates on John Stuart Mill comparative research Method of Agreement, Method of Difference, and Boolean Algebra Method, respectively. The paper would end with a brief comparison of these methods and a conclusion.Key words: comparative education, comparative research, Method of Agreement, Method of Difference, Boolean Algebra Method
