Navier-Stokes Calculations Using a Finite Point Meshless Method

Th e objective of t his research is to study t he ability of a meshless met hod , called fini te pointmethod, in solvi ng incompressible fluid flow problems using two stabil ization schemes. t hemain goal of meshless methods is to reduce or remove the cost of grid generat ion. t hisissue is imp lement ed using the sati sfaction of governing differential equat ions on a regular orir regular set of nodes by interpolation fu nctions , based on special least -squares approximat ions.in t his research, t he fi nite point method is used to solve the stokes and t he navier-stokesequat ions by employing two different stabilization schemes. in addition , th e effects of leastsquaresappro ximat ions are studi ed.
