|
Tici3(otf) catalyzed efficiently the protection of aromatic aldehydes with acetic anhydride inthe absence of solvent at room temperature with excellent yields. by this method, aliphaticaldehydes were also converted to their corresponding acylals, in the presence of a mixture ofacetic anhydride and acetic acid at high yields
