چکیده
|
It is believed that the first person to discover the application of electricity in medicine was the persian physician, philosopher, and mathematician known as avicenna (980-1037 ad). around one thousand years ago, avicenna succeeded in treatment of an army officer diagnosed with what we call now parkinson's disease by means of the most natural source of electric shocks, electrophorus electricus, or simply the electric eel.
