مسئولیت‌های فرادانشگاهی اعضای هیئت علمی در بستر دانشگاه کلاس جهانی: معرفی مفهوم برون‌گرایی علمی

هدف: ‌دنیای معاصر در حال تغییرات روزافزون است و آموزش عالی و دانشگاه ها نیز بی تاثیر از این تحولات نیستند؛ نقش دانشگاه‌ها و به تبع آن نقش اعضای هیئت علمی متناسب با تحولات دنیای معاصر در حال تغییر است. یکی از رویکردهای نوظهور در آموزش عالی، دانشگاه کلاس جهانی است. در این عرصه، اعضای هیئت علمی با کیفیت عاملی کلیدی و مهم جهت دستیابی به دانشگاه کلاس جهانی محسوب می‌شوند. لذا شناسایی نقش‌های جدید اعضای هیئت علمی در بسترهای نوظهور دانشگاهی اهمیت می‌یابد. پژوهش حاضر به منظور پوشش دادن این خلاء علمی انجام شده است. مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش از حیث هدف، کاربردی و از ماهیت داده‌ها، پژوهش کیفی از نوع تحلیل مضمون است. جامعه پژوهش، منابع مرتبط با دانشگاه کلاس جهانی و به ویژه شایستگی‌های اعضای هیئت علمی در دانشگاه کلاس جهانی بود. پس از بررسی منابع استخراج شده از پایگاه‌های داده، 57 منبع به‌عنوان نمونه هدفمند انتخاب شدند. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از روش کدگذاری و تحلیل مضمون استفاده شد و به منظور اعتباربخشی داده‌ها، از روش کینگ و هاروکس استفاده شد. بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: پس از تحلیل داده‌ها، در مجموع 32 مضمون پایه و 5 مضمون سازمان‌دهنده شناسایی شدند و از این رهگذر مضمون فراگیر «برون‌گرایی علمی» شکل گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که‌ می‌توان مبتنی بر نقش و مسئولیت‌های فرادانشگاهی اعضای هیئت علمی در بستر دانشگاه کلاس جهانی، شایستگی‌های اعضای هیئت علمی در این عرصه را در غالب پنج مضمون سازمان‌دهنده «اثرگذاری علمی»، «تعاملات فرادانشگاهی» و «مسئولیت‌های اجتماعی»، «شهروندی جهانی» و «هوش فرهنگی» خلاصه نمود. بر این اساس مضمون فراگیر «برون‌گرایی علمی» شناسایی شد که پیشنهاد می‌شود مورد توجه اعضای هیئت علمی و سیاست‌گذاران آموزش عالی قرار گیرد.

extracurricular responsibilities of faculty members in the context of a world-class university: introducing the concept of scientific extraversion

objectives: the contemporary world is changing more and more, and higher education and universities are not unaffected by these developments, the role of universities and, consequently, the role of faculty members is changing in line with developments in the contemporary world. one of the emerging approaches in higher education is a world-class university. in this field, the quality of faculty members is a key and important factor in achieving a world-class university. therefore, it is important to identify new plans for faculty members in emerging academic contexts. this study has been done to cover this scientific gap.materials and methods: this research is applied in terms of purpose, according to the method of data collection, it is a qualitative research of thematic analysis. the statistical population of the study was the resources related to the world-class university and especially the competencies of the faculty members in the world-class university. after reviewing the sources extracted from the databases, 57 sources were purposefully selected. to analyze the data, coding and thematic analysis methods were used, king et al methods were used to validate the data.discussion and conclusions: after analyzing the data, a total of 32 basic themes and 5 organizing themes were identified, and through this, the overarching theme of scientific extraversion was formed. the results showed that based on the role and responsibilities of faculty members in the context of a world-class university, the competencies of faculty members in this field could be categorized into the five organizing themes of scientific impact , meta-university interactions , social responsibilities ,   global citizenship , and cultural intelligence . based on this, the overarching theme of scientific extraversion was identified which it should be considered by faculty members and higher education policymakers.
