آیا لزومی جزئی و شرطی اتفاقی متمایزند؟

یکی از پیچیده‌ترین بخش‌های منطق قدیم در مورد شرطی لزومی، بحث سور جزیی است. هرچند ابن‌سینا برای بحث از سورهای جزئی در شرطی‌های لزومی، ابتدا، به بحث سور جزئی در حملیات و به تقسیمات آن پرداخته اما در ظاهر به نظر می‌رسد که بحث او در حملیات و شرطیات در تضاد با هم است و تشبیه و تمثیل به کار رفته ذهن را بیشتر از آن که هدایت کند گمراه می‌کند. با وجود این، در مقالة حاضر نشان داده‌ایم که با استفاده از برخی شاخه‌های منطق جدید، مانند منطق مرتبه دوم، منطق موجهات و منطق زمان، می‌توان بسیاری از ابهامات و ایرادات وارد بر ابن‌سینا را پاسخ داد. هم‌چنین نگاهی به بازتاب این بحث نزد برخی از بزرگ‌ترین پیروان ابن‌سینا، یعنی فخر رازی، افضل الدین خونجی، خواجه نصیر الدین طوسی، شمس الدین سمرقندی و قطب الدین رازی تحتانی، افکنده‌ایم و نشان داده‌ایم که این پیروان تا حد بسیاری از تحلیل‌های ابن‌سینا دور افتاده‌اند، و بحث آنها در تفکیک لزومی جزئی از اتفاقی بسیار ضعیف است و در حقیقت، هیچ کمکی به فهم این تفکیک نمی‌کند.

Are particular cogent and accidental conditionals distinct?

One of the most perplexing issues in Arabic Logic is the particular quantifier for conditionals. Before discussing particular quantifier at cogent conditionals, IbnSina deals with particular quantifier at categorical propositions and its divisions. But, as we shall see, his explanation at categorical propositions is inconsistent with his discussion at conditionals; and his analogy between the two realms is more confusing than explaining! Despite this, in this paper, I’ll show that by using some branches in Modern Logic, such as secondorder logic, modal logic and temporal logic, many of the ambiguities and the objections can be replied. Also, I’ll glance at the reflection of the discussion in some of IbnSina’s great followers: Fakhr AlDin AlRazi, Afdal AlDin AlKhunaji, Athir AlDin AlAbhari, Khaje Nasir AlTusi, Shams AlDin AlSamaqandi and Qutb AlDin AlRazi. I shall show haw far they are from IbnSina. Besides, it will be clear that their distinctions between contingent conditional and particular cogent conditional are very weak and, indeed, cannot help any way to understand the distinction.
