بهبود کارآیی شیوه آموزش تاریخ معماری

آموزش تاریخ معماری ایران و جهان، امروزه در دانشکده‌های معماری، هنوز با هدف شناخت بیشتر فرآورده‌های معماری گذشته انجام می‌شود؛ و محتوا و روش تدریس آن، رابطۀ روشنی با معماری امروز و فردای دانشجویان نمی‌یابد. با آنکه حجم بیشتر واحدهای درسی در آموزش معماری به‌درستی برای آموزش »طراحی معماری « سامان یافته است، دو کاستی جدی در آن دیده می‌شود: کم‌توجهی به گام »برنامه‌ریزی « برای طراحی، و بی‌توجهی به چگونگی بهره بردن از درس تاریخ معماری برای طراحی کارکردهای مختلف معماری؛ که پیامد آن بر آیندۀ شغلی دانشجویان موثر است. این مقاله در پیتدوین هدف و روشی بسامان برای آموزش تاریخ معماری است؛ و اینکه بررسی پیشینه و گذشتۀ معماری ایران و جهان چه سودی در آموزش طراحی معماری دارد؟ و چگونه می‌توان از معماری گذشته برای معماری امروز و آینده،درس آموخت و آموزش داد؟ این مقاله در شمار پژوهش‌های استدلال منطقی با رویکرد تحلیلی‌ تفسیری جای دارد. فرضیۀ مقاله این است که در معماری، آنچه زمان بر آن می‌گذرد و به تاریخ می‌پیوندد، »روش ساخت « است، و آنچه فراتر از زمان است، »روش طراحی « یا »چگونگی سامان‌دهی فضا «ست. گمان می‌رود با همۀ پافشاری‌هایی که بر فاصله گرفتن از گذشتۀ معماری می‌شود، هنوز هم نمونه‌ها و درس‌های ارزشمندی از طراحی را می‌توان از تاریخ معماری آموخت. »الگوهای فضایی « و »الگوهای سامان‌دهی فضایی «، تجربه‌های طراحی گذشتگان هستند که تحلیل آن‌ها در تدریس طراحی معماری به کار می‌آید. در این نوشته، ابتدا به نمونه‌ای از چنین الگوهایی اشاره و سپس راهبردی برای تدریس تاریخ معماری ارائه می‌شود؛ به‌گونه‌ای که در راستای کاربردی کردن آن برای درس طراحی معماری باشد.

Improving the Efficiency of Teaching Architectural History

Presently, teaching history of Iranian and world architecture in universities is meant to introduce architectural products of the past. The contents and teaching methods employed do not make a clear relationship with the architectural practice of students. Although most of the courses in architectural schools are properly coordinated for teaching architectural design , but there are two serious disadvantages: one, lack of attention to the programming phase, and the other, not taking advantage of architecture history to analyze valuable examples designed and built in the past. Both affect the future career of students. The present paper seeks to find: a suitable purpose and method for teaching architectural history; the benefits of studying Iranian and world architectural history; and ways to learn from past architecture for current students. This study employs logical reasoning with an analyticinterpretive approach. The hypothesis is that in architecture, method of construction is that which is linked with history, and method of design or how space is organized is that which goes beyond time. Despite all efforts to distance from architectural heritage, we can still learn valuable design lessons from the history of architecture. Analysis of spatial patterns and spatial organization models seen in architectural designs of the past can be used to instruct architectural design. The present study refers to an example of such patterns and then proposes a strategy for teaching architectural history to make it applicable for architecture design.
