بررسی ویژگی‌های استاد اثربخش از دیدگاه دانشجویان: مرورسیستماتیک و متاآنالیز

زمینه و هدف: ارزشیابی اساتید به‌عنوان فرایندی پاسخگو در ارتقاء کیفیت آموزش پزشکی عمده‌ترین رسالت دانشگاه بوده و مدرسین، تسهیل گر کلیدی و موثر این فرایند به شمار می‌آیند. برخی ویژگی‌های اساتید ازنظر دانشجویان می‌تواند، در بهبود و موثرتر نمودن فرایند یادگیری کمک‌کننده باشد. به همین منظور مطالعه‌ای باهدف تعیین ویژگی‌های موثر استادان در بهبود آموزش و میزان تاثیر آن‌ها ازنظر دانشجویان در ایران انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه با روش مرور سیستماتیک و فرا تحلیل انجام شد. برای این منظور مقالاتی که محل انجام آن‌ها در ایران و به زبان فارسی یا انگلیسی بودند، بدون در نظر گرفتن بازه زمانی انتخاب شدند. جستجوی مقالات در بانک‌های اطلاعاتی web of science, cochrane library, pubmed, cinahl, google scholar, ovid, science direct, wiley, scopus, proques, medline, elsevier, magiran sid، انجام شد. درنهایت تعداد 21 مقاله که شرایط ورود به متاآنالیز را دارا بودند، وارد مطالعه شده و موردبررسی قرار گرفتند.نتایج: ویژگی‌ها در شش حیطه استخراج شدند که شامل؛ ویژگی‌های فردی و شخصیتی، مهارت ارتباطی، مهارت‌های تدریس، دانش‌پژوهی، مهارت ارزشیابی دانشجو و رعایت قوانین آموزشی بودند.نتیجه‌گیری: ویژگی‌های فردی، دانش‌پژوهی و مهارت‌های ارتباطی از مهم‌ترین ویژگی‌های یک استاد اثربخش از دیدگاه دانشجویان بیان شدند. لذا به نظر می‌رسد لازم است در استخدام اساتید به ویژگی‌های موردنظر توجه شود.

Investigating the Effective Teacher Characteristics from the Students' perspective: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Background Objective: Teachers rsquo; evaluation as an accountable process in promoting the quality of medical education is the main mission of the university. Teachers are key and effective facilitator of this process. Some of the attributes of faculty from the students rsquo; point of view to help students to learn and make the learning process more effective. For this purpose, a study was conducted to determine the characteristics of effective faculty in improving education and its influence on students in Iran.Materials Methods: This study was conducted through systematic review and metaanalysis. For this purpose, the articles that were published in Iran were either in English in Persian and were selected for the study without considering the time period. Articles were searched in databases of Cochrane Library Web of Science, PubMed, CINAHL, Google Scholar, Ovid, Science Direct, WILEY, Scopus, ProQuest, Medline, Elsevier Magiran, and SID. Finally, 21 articles that met the criteria for metaanalysis were included in the study and their quality was evaluated.Results: Attributes were extracted in six domains. The six main dimensions are as follows: Individual and personality traits, communication skills, teaching skills, research skills, evaluation skills, and observing educational rules.Conclusion: Personal characteristics, research skills and communication skills were among the most important characteristics of an effective faculty from the students' perspective. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the characteristics in the recruitment of instructors.
