چکیده
|
زمینه و هدف: بیماری ذخیره گلیکوژن نوع ib، یک بیماری متابولیک با اختلال متابولیسم کربوهیدرات است که بیماران درنتیجه تولید ناکافی گلوکز از گلیکوژن دچار اختلالات متابولیسمی شده و به علت نوتروپنی به عفونت های راجعه مبتلا می شوند. برای اولین بار در ایران و جهان بیماری که با مصرف داروی گیاهی بهبودی یافته است را معرفی می نماییم.مورد: دختر 5 ساله مبتلا به بیماری ذخیره گلیکوژن نوع ib، باسابقه تشنج شیرخوارگی درزمینهٔ هیپوگلیسمی، هپاتومگالی، نوتروپنی، هیپرلیپیدمی و اسیدوز متابولیک است که به دلیل زخم های دهانی و عفونت های شدید در حملات نوتروپنی تحت درمان ماهانه با gcsf قرار داشت، با تجویز میوه عناب زخم های دهانی بهبود یافته و حملات عفونت و نوتروپنی بیمار از بین رفتند و بعد از شش ماه نیاز به تجویز gcsf پیدا نکرد.نتیجه گیری: استفاده از عناب می تواند موجب عدم رخداد نوتروپنی، عفونت و آفت دهانی در بیماری ذخیره گلیکوژن نوع ib گردد.

Protective effects of Ziziphus Jujube on clinical and paraclinical findings of glycogen storage disease Ib, a case report and literature review

Abstract
|
Background Objectives: Glycogen storage disease type Ib is a metabolic disease of carbohydrate metabolism. Patients suffer from metabolic disorders as a result of insufficient production of glucose from glycogen, and recurrent infections due to neutropenia. For the first time in Iran and in the world, we introduce a patient who was improved with herbal medicine.Case: A 5yearold girl with glycogen storage disease type Ib, with a history of infantile hypoglycemic seizures, hepatomegaly, neutropenia, hyperlipidemia and metabolic acidosis participated in this study. She was under monthly treatment with GCSF due to neutropenia induced recurrent oral ulcers and severe infection. After using Jujube fruit, her oral lesions improved and the patient rsquo;s infection attacks and neutropenia disappeared and there was no need for the administration of GCSF after six months.Conclusion: The use of jujube can lead to the improvement of neutropenia, infection and oral lesions in glycogen storage disease type Ib.
