مقایسۀ برگردان‌های فارسی داستان کودکانۀ «درخت بخشنده» از منظر پیراترجمه

پیرامتن، متنی در آستانۀ متن دیگر است. طرح روی جلد، پیشگفتار، توضیحات پشت جلد، قطع، جنس کاغذ، تقدیم‌نامه، پانوشت، لوگوی ناشر، سرصفحه و به‌طور کلی تمامی الحاقاتی که متن را به کتاب بدل می‌سازند پیرامتن به شمار می‌آیند. یوسته فریاس، با الهام از مفهوم پیرامتن، اصطلاح پیراترجمه را مطرح می‌کند. پیراترجمه عبارت است از ترجمۀ پیرامتن‌های کتاب، در راستای متناسب‌سازی آن با سپهر نشانه‌ایِ زبان مقصد. سازه‌های پیرامتنی، مجرایی نامرئی برای نفوذ ایدئولوژی مترجم‌اند. هدف این پژوهش بررسی تاثیر سازه‌های پیراترجمه‌ای بر تغییر گفتمان غالبِ اثر زبان‌اصلی است. با توجه به کثرت ترجمه‌های «درخت بخشنده»، اثر شل سیلورستاین، از زبان انگلیسی به زبان فارسی و خوانش‌های گوناگون مفسرانش، کتاب مذکور برای موضوع ترجمه‌شناسیِ این مقاله اختیار شده است. در همین راستا، پژوهش پیشِ‌رو با روش تحلیلی‌ توصیفی‌ در پی تطبیق چگونگی برهم‌کنشِ سازه‌های مختلفِ پیرامتنیِ هر یک از این ترجمه‌ها است. در گسترۀ ادبیات کودک، همواره برهم‌کنش متن و تصویر مورد توجه نظریه‌پردازانی همچون اسکات و نیکولایوا بوده است. نوآوری پژوهش حاضر این است که برهم‌کنش‌های مدّنظر ایشان را از سطح رابطۀ متن و تصویر به سطح رابطۀ سازه‌های پیراترجمه‌ تعمیم می‌دهد. نتیجۀ پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که برهم‌کنش متن و پیراترجمه به پنج شیوه (تقارنی، تکمیلی، توسیعی، ترکیبی و تناقضی) صورت می‌پذیرد و مترجمان و همکاران ایشان خوانش متن زبان‌اصلی را از طریق تغییر شیوۀ برهم‌کنش پیراترجمه‌های آن دستخوش تغییر می‌کنند. فاصلۀ فرهنگی میان متن زبان‌اصلی و متنِ ترجمه‌شده و نیز جایگاه برجستۀ پیرامتن‌هایی همچون طرح جلد، قطع و امثالهم در صنعت نشر کتاب کودک ضرورت پژوهش را ایجاب می‌نماید.

a comparison between the persian translations of the children’s story the giving tree: with a paratranslation approach

paratext is a text on the verge of another text. the cover design, the foreword, the back cover description, the book size, the paper type, the dedication, the footnotes, the publisher's logo, the title page, and generally all the additional elements that make a t ext into a book are considered paratext. inspired by the concept of paratext, yuste frias coined the term paratranslation. paratranslation includes the translation of a book's paratexts in order to adapt it to the semiosphere of the target language. parate xts are invisible channels for communicating the translator's ideologies. this study aims to investigate the effect of paratranslations on changing the dominant discourse in the source language of the original work. considering the numerous english to pers ian translations available for the giving tree by shell silverstein and the different readings of multiple reviewers of this book, this paper has decided on it as a subject for its approach in translation studies. in this regard, this study intends to co mpare the multiple interactions of paratexts in each available translation. the interaction between the text and images has always been of interest to children's literature theorists, including scott and nikolajeva. this paper’s initiative is to extend the ir discussed interactions from the level of text image relationship to the level of paratranslations. the results indicate that the interaction between the text and the paratext involves five different types (symmetrical, complementary, expanding, counterp ointing, and contradictory); additionally, the translators and other relevant cooperators influence the reading of the original text in the source language by assuming different types of paratranslation interactions. the cultural distance between the text of original language and the translated text, besides the prominence of different paratexts including cover design, book size, and other elements. in the children's book publishing industry, demands thorough research.
