بررسی موضوع منت‌گذاری و منت‌پذیری از منظر فقه‌الاخلاق، از جهت کاربردی بودن فقه در همه جوانب ابعاد دین عقاید، اخلاقیات، احکام و روشن شدن جلوه تازه‌ای از فقه تربیتی و نقش آن در سلامت اخلاقی و رشد و تعالی معنوی فردی و اجتماعی و حتی در عرصه روابط بین‌الملل، دارای اهمیت ویژه است. ازاین‌رو با روش توصیفی‌‌تحلیلی، با هدف چگونگی تطبیق قواعد فقهی بر منت‌گذاری و منت‌پذیری، به بررسی موضوع فوق می‌پردازیم و با توجه به مصادیق متعدد و ذومراتب بودن آن، نتیجه می‌گیریم که نمی‌توان به‌طور مطلق، حکم فقهی ثابتی مانند حرام بر آن مترتب کرد؛ بلکه تطبیق هرکدام از احکام خمسه تکلیفیه بر مصادیق متعدد آن محتمل است.
