چکیده    Cystic lymphangioma is a rare benign tumour occurring during childhood. this tumour, caused by lymphatic system malformations, commonly occurs in head and neck regions. herein, we report the case of a three-month-old male infant, diagnosed with a large cystic mass in the abdominal cavity and groin. the infant presented with low-grade fever and significant abdominal distension. abdominal ct scan (with a contrast agent) revealed a large cystic mass in the abdominal cavity. during surgery, the mass was found to originate from the mesentery and was inferiorly connected to the sigmoid colon. also, a small cystic mass was detected in the left scrotal region. the mass was removed along with a portion of the sigmoid colon and the cyst in the groin. later on, histopathological examination of the mass confirmed the diagnosis of mesenteric cystic lymphangioma.
