In the article titled association between covid-19 mortality and underlying disease; tehran, iran, published in journal of caring sciences (2025; 14(1): 37-41; doi: 10.34172/jcs.025.33254), the surname of the third author was incorrect. the correct name is leila ghaderi-nansa. additionally, the affiliation number 3 was not formatted correctly. the correct affiliation format is as follows: department of health information technology, faculty of management and medical informatics, tabriz university of medical sciences, tabriz, iran. these corrections have been updated in both the pdf and html versions of the article.
