چکیده    A new two-dimensional lead(ii) coordination polymer, [pb(pro)2] n (1); pro = l-proline amino acid, has been synthesized and characterized by ir and x-ray diffraction. structural determination of compound 1 reveals the pb(ii) ion is four-coordinated, bonded to two nitrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms from the l-proline ligand. pbo nanoparticles were synthesized by calcination of compound 1 at 500, 550 and 600 °c under air atmosphere. the pbo nanostructure was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (sem) and x-ray powder diffraction (xrd). the thermal stability of compound 1 was studied by thermal gravimetric analysis (tga) and differential thermal analysis (dta). increase in calcination temperature decreased particles size and also led to layer-shape nanostructures morphology.
