چکیده
|
In this work, we report the synthesis, characterization, crystal structure, and thermal and antibacterial studies of a new nano-sized copper(i) thiosemicarbazone complex prepared by an ultrasonic bath assisted synthesis in an acetonitrile solution. characterization of the complex and its ligand (ehb-tsc = 3-ethoxy-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde-thiosemicarbazone) was performed using elemental analysis, ft-ir, 1h and 13c-nmr, uv–vis spectroscopy, thermal gravimetry, and single-crystal x-ray diffraction. in addition, the complex was characterized by x-ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.
