چکیده
|
گزاره های شرطی به عنوان یکی از وجوه اساسی ساختار منطق رواقی-مگاری ها، از سوی منطق دانان این نحله منطقی به انحاء متفاوتی تعریف شده اند و شرایط صدق این گزاره ها آنها را با تعابیر معنایی متفاوتی قرین ساخته است. در این مقاله نخست سعی شده است در خصوص تمایز ساختاری منطق رواقی-مگاری با منطق ارسطویی به اجمال، مطالبی ذکر شده و جایگاه گزاره های شرطی در این نظام منطقی روشن شود؛ سپس با برشمردن انواع گزاره های شرطی و شرایط صدقشان در منطق رواقی-مگاری و تطبیق و مقایسه آنها با تعاریف جدید استلزام در منطق جدید به توصیف معنایی امروزین این گزاره ها پرداخته شود. غالب پژوهشگران در این حوزه به ارزیابی استلزام های رواقی-مگاری در پرتو تطابق یا عدم تطابقشان با تعاریف استلزام مادی، استلزام اکید و قانون های طبیعی اهتمام داشته اند و ما در این مقاله با استناد بر این آراء و ارزیابی ها در پی بررسی و تحلیل معنایی گزاره های شرطی رواقی مگاری برآمده ایم.

The Semantics of Conditional Propositions in StoicMegarian Logic

Abstract
|
The main issue of the present Article is a discussion about the conditional proposition in Stoic Megarian Logic. There were, in StoicMegarian school, many theories of meaning to interpret these propositions. Since conditional propositions made the structure’s core of their Logic, so for the understanding of the key concept of their thought, we need searching, prior to anything, in the semantics of these propositions. We will, in the first place and much survey, compare between StoicMegarian Logic and Aristotelian Logic and present where is the state of conditional propositions in the StoicMegarian Logic; then, in the second place, we explore all kinds of conditional proposition and their conditions of truth values in StoicMegarian Logic and compare them with the concept of implication in modern logic and reinterpret them with new instruments in modern logic. Most logicians, in this field, evaluate and compare StoicMegarian conditional propositions with definitions of Material implication, strict implication, and Natural laws and we, in this Article, evaluate and analyze these propositions with this perspective and ideas.
