Letter to the editor: recently an article entitled “a contemplationof the geographical origin of seyyed ismaʼil jurjani”(golshani, and esmaili, 2021, pp. 137-46)has been published in the journal of research onhistory of medicine, in which the authors have putforward a controversial idea on the birthplace ofseyyed ismail jorjani, one of the most prominentphysicians in persian medicine of the late elevenand early twelfth centuries in iran.
