جستاری در پوشاک صابئین مندائی

پوشاک به عنوان یکی از مظاهر فرهنگ و تمدن، در شناخت اقوام از اهمیت و جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. «صابئین مندائی» از جمله اقلیت‌های دینی‌اند که از دیرباز در خوزستان و در جوار رودخانه‌ها زندگی می‌کرده‌اند. دربارۀ این قوم پژوهش‌هایی با محوریت آیین مذهبی، خط و زبان، برخی آداب و رسوم و چگونگی مهاجرت آنان به بین‌النهرین انجام شده است. در این میان، به پوشاک صابئین که معرّف ارزش‌های ملی و مذهبی آنهاست، کمتر توجه شده است. در این پژوهش پوشاک زنان و مردان مندائی با تکیه بر شواهدِ تاریخی مکتوب، تاریخ شفاهی و مصاحبۀ حضوری با رویکرد توصیفی تحلیلی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. بررسی‌ها حکایت‌ از آن دارد که مندائیان در زندگی روزمره و معمولی تابع فرهنگ حاکم بر جامعه بوده‌اند. آنان در مراسم مذهبی و آیینیِ خود از پوشش خاصی به نام «رسته» استفاده می‌کردند و در حال حاضر نیز پوشیدن آن به همان شیوۀ گذشته استمرار دارد. رسته از پنج قسمتِ «برزنقا»، «سُدرا»، «نصیفه»، «همیانه» و «شَروارا» تشکیل شده است که هر یک کاربرد و مفهوم خاص خود را دارد. پوشیدن این لباس یکپارچه سفید هنگام اجرای مراسم صابئین برای زن و مرد به‌طور یکسان و همانندِ هم ضروری است.

abstract sabean mandaee clothes clothing, as one of the manifestations of culture and civilization, and has a special role in studying ethnic groups. the sabean mandaeans are among the religious minorities who have long lived in the province of khuzestan and near rivers.  some research focusing on religious ceremonies, script and language, customs and how these people migrated to mesopotamia is done. however, sabean clothing, which reflects their national and religious values have not paid enough scholarly attention. this study will investigate mandaean men and women’s clothing investigate, based on historical evidence, oral history and face to face interviews and using of analytical approach.    studies show that the mandaeans were subject to the culture of the society in their daily and ordinary life. in their religious ceremonies, they used to wear an especial dress called rasta and they have continued up to now wearing it in the same way as before. the dress consists of five parts: barzanqa, sudra, nasifa, hemianeh and sharvara, each of which has its application and meaning. it is equally necessary for men and women to wear this white uniform during the sabean ceremony.keywords: sabeans, mandaeans, clothing, khuzestan, qajar
