موازنه تهدید در روابط سیاسی جمهوری‌اسلامی‌ایران و ایالات‌متحده‌آمریکا

روابط ایران و آمریکا پس از انقلاب اسلامی یکی از پر تنش‌ترین روابط سیاسی معاصر را شکل داده است و اتخاذ و اجرای هر تصمیم درباره این روابط منوط به شناخت، توجیه و کاربست نظریه متناسب با آن است. کاربست نظریه مناسب خصوصاً درباره روابط ایران و آمریکا سبب می‌گردد تا فضای فکری تصمیم‌گیران در چارچوب مناسبی قرار گیرد و تحت این چارچوب تصمیمات مقتضی گرفته شود و نه اینکه با رویاپردازی و برداشت‌های نادرست تصمیمات نامتناسبی در این باب اتخاذ گردد. بر این اساس در این پژوهش بدنبال پاسخ به این سوال هستیم که روابط سیاسی ایران و ایالات متحده در چارچوب نظریه موازنه تهدید چگونه قابل توجیه است؟ فرضیه اینکه با توجه به وجود هر چهار وجه تهدید معرفی شده توسط استفن والت (قدرت، جغرافیا، توانایی‌های نظامی و مقاصد تهاجمی) که با وجود آن‌ها موازنه صورت می‌گیرد در روابط ایران و آمریکا، روابط دو کشور در چارچوب این نظریه قابل توجیه است. در این پژوهش قصد بر این است تا با استفاده از روش علمیتجربی کاربست نظریه موازنه تهدید در روابط میان جمهوری‌اسلامی ایران را مورد بررسی قرار دهیم.

The Balance of Threat in the Political Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United State

IranUS relations have formed one of the most stressful contemporary political relations since the Islamic Revolution, and making, and implementation of any decision on these relations is subject to the recognition, justification, and application of the theory appropriate to it. Applying appropriate theory, especially on USIran relations, will give decision makers an appropriate framework of thought and make appropriate decisions under this framework, rather than misrepresentations and misinterpretations. Therefore, in this study, we seek to answer the question of how the political relations between Iran and the United States can be justified within the framework of the threat balance theory. The hypothesis that given all four aspects of the threat posed by Stephen Walt (power, geography, military capabilities, and offensive intentions) that balance them in IranUS relations, the two countries’ relations fall within the framework of this justified theory. The purpose of this study is to investigate the application of the theory of threat balance in the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran using scientificexperimental method.
