حیات اجتماعی دورۀ صفویه از منظر تذکرۀ نصرآبادی

در میان منابع پژوهش در تاریخ اجتماعی، تذکره‌‌ها از جایگاه خاصی برخوردارند. اگرچه تمرکز اصلی تذکره‌‌ها بر شرح حال شاعران و سخنوران است، اطلاعات حاشیه‌ای که در خلال شرح حال‌‌ها به آن اشاره شده، می‌تواند نقش موثری در تکمیل و گاه حتی تصحیح اطلاعات منابع تاریخی ایفا کند. در میان تذکره‌های دورۀ صفوی، تذکرۀ نصرآبادی چه به لحاظ تعدد شرح حال‌‌ها و چه به لحاظ حجم اطلاعات حاشیه‌ای و به‌ویژه توجه نویسنده بر سخنورانی از طبقات مختلف جامعه از اهمیت ویژه‌ای برخورداراست. این مقاله که با روش کتابخانه‌ای و به شیوۀ توصیفی و تحلیلی ساماندهی شده، در پی پاسخ به این سوال است که تذکرۀ نصرآبادی چه نقشی در تبیین اوضاع اجتماعی دورۀ صفویه ایفا می‌کند؟ یافته‌‌ها موید آن است که اگرچه نکات اجتماعی ارائه شده در این اثر به‌صورت حاشیه‌ای و در لابه‌لای شرح حال شاعران و سخنوران این دوره آورده شده است، توجه خاص نویسنده به طبقات مختلف جامعه به‌ویژه عامۀ مردم، سرگرمی‌ها، اعتقادات و آداب و رسوم و چگونگی تعامل اجتماعی گروه‌های مختلف، در کنار نمایاندن آسیب‌‌ها و چالش‌هایی که طبقات مختلف عصر وی با آن مواجه بوده‌اند، این کتاب را به منبعی ارزشمند جهت فهم بیشتر و بهتر جنبه‌های مختلف حیات اجتماعی دورۀ صفویه به‌ویژه اواخر آن بدل ساخته است.

Social life of the Safavid period from the perspective of Taḏkera-ye Naṣrābādi

Biographies have a special place as a source of research in social history. Although the main focus of biographies is on the life and memoires of poets and orators, the peripheral information stated amidst the biographies can play an effective role in supplementing and sometimes correcting the information obtained from historical sources. Among the biographies of the Safavid period, Taḏkeraye Naṣrābādi is of special importance both in terms of the abundance of biographies and the sheer volume of peripheral information, especially the author’s painstaking effort to document the life of different segments of society. This article, which uses a library method and a descriptiveanalytical approach, seeks to answer the question, “What role does Taḏkeraye Naṣrābādi play in explaining the social situation in the Safavid period?” The findings suggest that although the social information in this work are presented indirectly amidst the biographies of poets and orators of this era, the author’s special attention to different classes of society, especially the general public, and their hobbies, beliefs and customs and social interactions, not only demonstrates the challenges facing different social strata of his era, but also males the book an invaluable resource of information that can shed light on various aspects of Safavid social life, especially its late period.
