بررسی اثر روش توصیف تصاویر دیجیتال بر سواد بصری

با توجه به افزایش روزافزون حجم اطلاعات در دنیای کنونی و ضرورت استفاده از تصاویر در حوزه‌های مختلف، اهمیت سواد بصری بر کسی پوشیده نیست. به‌دلیل افزایش حجم منابع اطلاعاتی لازم است اطلاعات در قالب تصویر انتخاب شوند. هدف اصلی پژوهش بررسی تاثیر روش توصیف تصاویر دیجیتال بر سواد بصری دانشجویان است. روش پژوهش نیمه‌آزمایشی و طرح آن به‌صورت پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون با گروه کنترل است. در این طرح ابتدا سواد بصری گروه آزمایش و گواه (11 نفر در گروه آزمایش و 11 نفر در گروه گواه) به‌وسیله پیش‌آزمون سنجیده شد و سپس، گروه آزمایش تحت آموزش قرار گرفته و طی 9 جلسه 30 دقیقه‌ای از طریق تصاویر، آموزش دریافت کردند. تصاویر مورد استفاده در این پژوهش از سایت‌های »گتی ایمیجز « و »فلیکر « انتخاب شد. برای گردآوری داده های پژوهش از پرسشنامه سواد بصری استفاده شد و تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها با استفاده از تحلیل کوواریانس چندمتغیره (مانکوا) انجام گرفت. با توجه به یافته‌ها می‌توان دریافت که میانگین مولفه‌های سواد بصری در پس‌آزمون گروه آزمایش به نسبت گروه گواه افزایش قابل توجهی داشته و سطح معناداری هر یک در تحلیل کوواریانس کمتر از 0.05 است که نشان از پیشرفت آن‌ها در گروه آزمایش است. در نتیجه، می‌توان گفت که روش توصیف تصاویر دیجیتال بر سواد بصری دانشجویان و مولفه‌هایش تاثیر مثبت و معناداری دارد. افراد باید بتوانند پیام‌های موجود در تصاویر را درک و پیام‌های تصویری را ایجاد کنند. بنابراین، باید سعی شود در نظام آموزشی که مبتنی بر شیوه‌های سنتی است، تغییراتی ایجاد کرد و سواد بصری را به دانشجویان آموزش داد تا بتوانند مفاهیم را درک کنند و یادگیری خود را افزایش دهند.

Investigating the Effect of Digital Image Guide on Visual Literacy

Due to the increasing volume of information in today #39;s world and the need to use images in various fields, we can no longer afford to ignore the importance of visual literacy as much information is included and conveyed through images. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of digital image guide method on visual literacy. A quasiexperimental research method with pretest posttest control group design was used to answer the research questions. The research began by assessing the visual literacy of the experimental and the control groups via a visual literacy questionnaire (the pretest). The experimental group then received 9 sessions of 30minute training through description of digital images, known as the Digital Image Guide, while the control received no special treatment. The images used in this study were selected from Getty Images and Flickr sites. Afterwards, the two groups took the same visual literacy questionnaire (the posttest). The obtained data were analyzed using a multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). The results showed that the mean of visual literacy components in the posttest of the experimental group had a significant increase compared to that of the control group (p<0.05). Therefore, it can be said that the Digital Image Guide (i.e. the method of describing digital images) had a positive and significant effect on students #39; visual literacy and its components. People need to be able to understand and visualize the messages in the images and educational systems, which are usually based on traditional methods, need to take that point into account and teach visual literacy to students so that they can understand concepts as it would enhance their learning.
