تبیین توانها و مدیریت گردشگری ژئوسایتها بر پایه ارزیابی محوطه های تنوع زمینی (مطالعه موردی: منطقه گردشگری تنگه واشی در شهرستان فیروزکوه)

ژئوتوریسم، گونه ای از گردشگری مسئولانه با هدف توسعه اقتصادی -اجتماعی مقصدهای گردشگری و تقویت ارزش های علمی مکان های زمین شناختی و خدمات گردشگری است که بر حفاظت از میراث زمین و مردمی کردن علوم آن تاکید دارد. لازمه توسعه یک مقصد ژئوتوریستی، شناخت ارزش های آن و تبیین توان‌ها و موانع و ارائه برنامه ریزی مطلوب در جهت مدیریت آن است. منطقه ویژه گردشگری تنگه واشی در شهرستان فیروزکوه، با داشتن پدیده های مختلف زمین شناسی و ارزش های علمی و مکمل، از مقصد مهم ژئوتوریسم در سطح محلی و ملی محسوب می شود. با توجه به نزدیکی به شهر تهران و توسعه خدمات گردشگری و احتمال خطر تخریب ژئوسایت، ارزیابی جامع ژئوتوریستی منطقه و ارائه یک مدل جهت، مدیریت بهینه در مقصد، ضروری به نظر می‌رسد. در این پژوهش که با بهره گیری از روش ارزیابی ژئوتوریسم محوطه های تنوع زمینی(بریل ها، 2015 ) انجام گرفته است. با بررسی مستندات و مطالعات میدانی و گروه کارشناسان، ارزش‌های ژئوتوریسم بر پایه مدل مذکور ارزیابی و ارزش نهایی ژئوسایتها در چهار بخش علمی، آموزشی، گردشگری و خطر اضمحلال مورد سنجش قرار گرفت. نتایج حاکی از شرایط مطلوب، تنگه واشی در بخش ارزش‌های آموزشی و گردشگری و ضعف در بخش علمی و خطر نسبی اضمحلال می‌باشد. به همین منظور کاربری مطلوب گردشگری تنگه واشی، بر پایه رویکرد علمی- حفاظتی است. در این راستا، مدل مطلوب جهت مدیریت ژئوتوریسم تنگه واشی، بهره‌گیری از موقعیت دسترسی به کانون جمعیتی استان و تقویت ارزش‌های مکمل و تنوع زمین شناختی و تقویت خدمات گردشگری و حفظ توانمندی همراه با حفاظت فیزیکی و ترویج علمی، مشارکت روستایی و کنترل‌های قانونی است.
