مکان‌یابی شهر زیز بر اساس منابع تاریخی و بررسی‌های باستان‌شناختی

یکی از شهرهایی که جغرافیدانان و مورخان سده های اولیه و میانه ی اسلامی از آن یاد کرده‌اند و به توصیف آن پرداخته اند، شهر زیز است. زیز از شهرهای کوره ی ارّجان بود که در بخش شمال شرقی آن واقع شده بود. بر اساس متون تاریخی این شهر بر مسیر ارتباطی ارجان به اصفهان واقع شده بود و منبر و جامع داشت. هدف پژوهشی که نتایج آن در نوشتار حاضر ارائه گردید، تعیین موقعیت جغرافیایی و شناسایی محل دقیق شهر زیز است. در این تحقیق که به روش توصیفی - تحلیلی انجام یافت، تلاش بر آن بود تا با تحلیل مقایسه ای نتایج مطالعات میدانی و داده‌های اسنادی (منابع مکتوب) به این پرسش پاسخ گفته شود که کدام محوطه یا محوطه‌های باستانی بقایای شهر زیز را در خود جای داده است؟ نتایج به‌دست‌آمده از داده های میدانی و بررسی‌های باستان‌شناسی و واکاوی متون تاریخی، موقعیت جغرافیایی شهر زیز را در شهرستان کنونی بویراحمد، در ناحیه زیز با محوطه ی «زیزِ نسه» مطابقت می دهند.

Identifying the Location of Ziz City Using Historical Sources and Archaeological Surveys

Ziz is one of the important cities that Geographers and Historians have described it in the early centuries and MidIslamic period. Ziz was a city of the Arrajan Khore, which is located in the northeast of it. According to historical sources, it was located on the route of Arrajan to Esfahan and this city has pulpit and main (jamea) Mosque. This research is aimed to specify the exact geographical location of Ziz city. The authors of this paper applied descriptive–analytical approach and analysis of field study and documented data (literary sources) attempts to answers regarding question about ancient sites or site including the remains of ziz city? The results of field study and archaeological surveys and analysis of historical texts show that the geographical location of Ziz city is more likely the modern Boyerahmad city located in the Ziz area on the Ziz Nesah site.
