تاثیر بیماری آلزایمر بر وجوب و صحت نماز

آلزایمر از بیمارهای مغزی غیرقابل برگشت و شایع دوران بزرگ‌سالی است که به‌علت رسوب ترکیبات شیمیایی آسیب‌زا در ساختار سلول‌های مغزی پدید آمده و سبب اختلال در انتقال پیام‌های عصبی بین سلول‌ها و کارایی حافظۀ کوتاه‌مدت و سپس بلندمدت شده و بر ابعاد مختلف زندگی فردی و اجتماعی بیمار تاثیر گذاشته و توانایی ذهنی و جسمی وی را به‌‌مرور کاهش می‌دهد. با‌وجود شیوع، گستردگی و روند روبه‌رشد این بیماری، پژوهش‌های فقهی محدودی درباره تاثیر آلزایمر بر احکام و تکالیف شرعی افراد مبتلا به این بیماری انجام شده‌ است. در این پژوهش که براساس روش توصیفی‌تحلیلی و با استفاده از منابع کتابخانه‌ای صورت گرفته است، به بررسی و تحلیل فقهی تاثیر بیماری آلزایمر بر وجوب، صحت و ادای نماز از دیدگاه مذاهب ‌اسلامی پرداخته‌ می‌شود. حاصل بررسی ادوار هفت‌گانهٔ آلزایمر آن است که از مرحلۀ پنجم بیماری به بعد، علاوه‌بر آنکه بیمار شرط قدرت یعنی اراده، علم و آگاهی‌اش را از دست می‌دهد، شرط عقل را نیز دارا نخواهد بود؛ چراکه وی به حیات نباتی نزدیک شده و برای انجام کارهای روزمرۀ خود نیازمند یاری اطرافیانش است، در این‌حالت بیمار علاوه‌بر آنکه اهلیت ادایش را ازدست می‌دهد، به‌تبع، مخاطب حکم تکلیفی نیز نیست.

the impact of alzheimer’s disease on the obligation and validity of prayer

alzheimer’s is one of the progressive and irreversible brain disorders common in adulthood, caused by the buildup of harmful chemical compounds in the structure of brain cells. this condition leads to disruption in the transmission of signals between neurons and affects the functions of first short-term, and then long-term memory, subsequently impacting various aspects of the patient’s personal and social life and gradually reducing their mental and physical capacity. despite the prevalence and increasingly widespread nature of alzheimer’s, scholarship on how it affects the religious obligations of those diagnosed remain limited. the present study, using a descriptive-analytical method, and based on library research, investigates the jurisprudential implications of alzheimer’s on the obligation, validity, and performance of daily prayers across different islamic schools (mazāhib-i islāmī). after examining the seven stages of alzheimer’s, the study concludes that from the fifth stage onward, the patient neither has the power (will, knowledge, and awareness), nor the wisdom to do so. at this point, the individual is nearing a vegetative state and depends on others for basic daily tasks. therefore, he/she is no longer considered to have legal accomplishment qualification to perform acts of worship, and as a result is no longer subject to religious obligations (ḥukm-i taklīfi).
