مراسم دعای باران در شهرستان رشتخوار با الهام از مراسم برگزارشده برای الهه ارزشمند اَناهیتا، دارای بن‌مایه و ریشه‌هایی است که به دوران باستان برمی‌گردد. این مراسم با خلق عروسکی مترسک‌وار به نام (َاتلومَتلو) که از ظاهری نه‌چندان زیبا برخوردار است، همراه می‌شود. عروسک اتلومتلو طبق نگاه تکوینی، به‌عنوان متن و اثر هنری‌ نهایی تکرارشونده، در خلا و به‌صورت ناگهانی به وجود نیامده است. از این‌رو، با بن‌مایه‌های مشترک و پیشامتن‌های اولیه با شدت و ضعف در بستر تاریخی، مستعد گزند پیرامتن‌ها و دگرگونی در گذر زمان بنا به دلایل گوناگون است. در مسیر این انتقال طبق جنبه دگرگونی مبنی بر نقد تکوینی ضمن ایجاد تغییرات در عوامل جزئی باید به روابط درونی و هویت اصلی این الهه صدمه‌ای وارد نشود. هدف این پژوهش، واکاوی علل تغییر ماهیت عروسک اتلومتلو در روند خلق تکوینی دعای باران اهالی شهرستان رشتخوار است. سوال اصلی بر این محور قرار دارد که آیا عروسک (اتلومتلو) در مسیر خلق تکوینی دچار دگرگونی شده است؟ این پژوهش از نوع تحقیقات تکوینی و از منظر بررسی داده‌ها به‌صورت توصیفی-تحلیلی، با جمع‌آوری اطلاعات به‌صورت اسنادی، این نتیجه حاصل شده است که عروسک اتلومتلو همان الهه اَناهیتا است، اما تحت تاثیر پیرامتن‌هایی همچون تاثیرات ایدئولوژیک (سیاسی، اقتصادی، فرهنگی و مذهبی) و متاثر از ارزش‌ها و هنجارها در گذر زمان دچار دگرگونی در عواملی همچون شمایل، شخصیت، نحوه لباس پوشیدن، موقعیت اجتماعی و هویت در عوامل درونی شده است.
